In her screed against this blogger, North Miami Beach carpetbagging “candidate,” Linda Joseph, whined that we referred to her as “deadbeat” in The sad tale of Deadbeat Linda Joseph Noel and her hapless ex-husband.
As we explained in Linda Joseph DEMANDS! (Part 2) :
Linda “identified as false and defamatory” statements in this blog “That I was a ‘Deadbeat,’ owned no properties, fraudulently ran for office, escaped responsibility, and caused the described financial and marital harm.”
Her “Basis for falsity” is that, “The publication combines selected docket entries, third-party obligations, assumptions, and insults to imply current unpaid wrongdoing and personal culpability. Any actionable assertion must be compared with the complete certified docket, party obligations, satisfactions, releases, ownership records, and final dispositions-not selected motions or allegations.”
Linda then DEMANDED that we “Correct any inaccurate ownership, payment, judgment, or responsibility statement; distinguish allegations and motions from adjudicated facts; and remove false implications of current unpaid criminal or fraudulent conduct.”
Using actual public records obtained from the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Court’s Official Records Online System, we could find no properties currently owned by Linda Joseph, or her alter egos, Linda Noel, and Linda Joseph Noel.
We also noted that she “escaped responsibility, and caused the described financial and marital harm” by trotting out a lawsuit filed against her, her ex-husband, and their company, Noel Enterprises, LLC, by ERT 163rd Street Mall, LLC. The Plaintiff prevailed with the issuance of an Order Granting Plaintiff’s Motion for Final Summary Judgment against her Noel Enterprises, LLC in the amount of “$101,590.35, plus interest, attorneys’ fees, and costs against Guarantor, Linda Noel, in the amount of $56,936.46, plus interest, attorneys fees, and costs.”
In addition, we also described how she “escaped responsibility” by somehow foisting the entire debt on to her ex-husband, who got stuck with the lion’s share of the judgement in the amount of $73,465.53, and whose wages were garnished.
While that case dragged on for years, we ended that blog about Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, with:
By now you may be wondering how Linda Joseph escaped intact from the disaster she created, and never had to pay a dime to settle this lawsuit.
A little hint appeared in a document Mercy Noel filed with the Court on January 30, 2023 entitled Defendant’s Motion to Set Aside Default Judgment and Set Up a New Trial Date.
Although his motion was never heard by the Court, it explained that Noel Enterprises, LLC was assigned to his ex-wife by Court Order, that the company had already been dissolved, and that “On July 12, 2021, Defendant Linda Noel received a discharge for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy where this debt is involved. Case number 17-21912-LMI.”
Yes, you read that correctly!
The carpetbagging “candidate” asking for your vote of confidence in her “leadership” filed for Bankruptcy on October 13, 2021 while she was being sued for non-payment of a Business Lease that she personally guaranteed.
But those gory bankruptcy details will have to wait for another day because we still have lots more tea to spill.
Well, gentle readers, it’s Tea Time.
Start brewing the tea, sit back, and relax, while we fill you in on the Deadbeat of the Century, Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel.
It took us quite some time to do a deep dive and organize (heh heh) all the lawsuits that Linda Joseph has been embroiled in since at least 2010. This exposé may hurt her little feelings, but facts don’t care about feelings.
And neither do we.
Let’s go through these little gems one at a time in chronological order.
Here is the list of cases where Linda Joseph is a Defendant.
Now we will discuss all of these cases in great detail.
1. On November 10, 2009, BAC Home Loan Servicing LP filed a foreclosure lawsuit against Mercy Noel and Linda Joseph on a property they owned at the time located at 17602 NW 25 Avenue, Unit 209, Miami, Florida 33169. The Notice of Lis Pendens was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on November 13, 2009. Seven months later, the Court issued a Final Judgment of Foreclosure, which was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on June 2, 2010. A Certificate of Title was filed among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on November 23, 2011, transferring the property to the BAC Home Loan Servicing LP.
2. On December 27, 2010, The Oaks at Miami Gardens Condominium Association, Inc. filed a homeowner’s association lawsuit against Linda Joseph-Noel, on the same property she owned at the time located at 17602 NW 25 Avenue, Unit 209, Miami, Florida 33169. The Notice of Lis Pendens was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on January 3, 2011. The Final Judgment of Condominium/Homeowner’s Association Foreclosure was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on July 13, 2011. A Certificate of Title was filed among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on September 8, 2011, transferring the property to Oaks at Miami Gardens Condominium Association, Inc., leaving the Condo Commandos free to duke it out with the bank over who gets custody of the property.
3. On May 3, 2011, Wells Fargo Bank, NA, filed a foreclosure lawsuit against Linda Joseph, et al, on a property she owned at the time located at 12350 NW 15 Avenue, Miami, Florida 33167. This was the property that we had mentioned in a previous blog that her future ex-husband had conveyed to her by a Quit Claim Deed on July 15, 2002, nearly two years before they were married. On January 4, 2012, however, a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal Without Prejudice was filed, and the property remained in her name until it was literally taken from her by the Sheriff to settle a lawsuit involving her failed Wing Zone business, the saga of which we previously reported in Linda Joseph’s “Unclean Hands.” But more on that in a minute.
4. On October 4, 2011, five months after Wells Fargo Bank sued Linda Joseph, it filed another foreclosure lawsuit against Mercy Noel and Linda Noel, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, on the property they owned at the time located at 275 NW 157 Street, Miami, Florida 33169 (a/k/a Linda Joseph’s “Biscayne Gardens house”). A Notice of Lis Pendens was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on October 12, 2011. On December 18, 2012, however, the Court issued an Order Dismissing Foreclosure Action Without Prejudice, and the case was dismissed.
Interestingly, although the couple had divorced nine months earlier on March 2, 2011, they still owned this property jointly until they sold it, as “husband and wife,” to Linda’s father, Macellon Joseph, by General Warranty Deed, which was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on December 11, 2012 — just two months after this foreclosure lawsuit was filed.
Not to be outsmarted …
5. On November 5, 2012, Wells Fargo Bank filed yet another foreclosure lawsuit against Mercy Noel and Linda Noel, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, this time on a house they had previously purchased located at 900 NE 126 Street, North Miami, Florida 33161. A Notice of Lis Pendens was recorded among the PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA on November 13, 2012. One year and three months later, the Court issued its Final Judgment of Foreclosure on February 3, 2014, and a Notice of Judicial Sale by the Clerk was filed on February 21, 2014.
The really fascinating thing about this particular foreclosure is the lengths Linda Joseph went through in an attempt to avoid service of process.
On May 29, 2013, more than six months after the foreclosure lawsuit was filed, Wells Fargo’s attorney filed a Plaintiff’s Affidavit of Diligent Search for Service of Process by Publication stating that after attempting to serve Linda at four different known addresses, and after its investigator searched through multiple public databases, including “Social Security Search, Employment Search, Address Inquiry, Telephone Company Inquiry, State Motor Vehicle Inquiry, Tax Assessor, Voter Registration, Postal Service, Regulatory Agencies, Military Service, Death Records, Internet, and Hospital Searches, Correctional Facilities search, [and] Public Records search,” Linda Joseph was nowhere to be found.
Maybe they should have just asked this blogger to find her.
But, we digress.
On that same date, Wells Fargo filed an Affidavit of Diligent Search and Inquiry, which was signed and notarized on February 7, 2013, and which contained some truly strange investigation results.
The investigator/process server determined that Linda had no known employment history other than Noel Enterprises, LLC, the company she formed in December 27, 2006 in order to purchase her doomed-to-fail business, Wing Zone, located at 1303 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach, Florida 33162. The company dissolved on July 26, 2012, around the same time the restaurant closed.
He also found “no verifiable telephone records” and, oddly, no voter registration records for Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel.
But the craziest finding by far was that when the process server attempted to serve Linda at her last known address at 275 NW NW 157 Street, Miami, Florida 33169, a/k/a the Biscayne Gardens house, the homeowner, who claimed to be “Caroline Harris,” answered the door said that she had bought the home from Linda “about a month ago,” and that Linda’s “whereabouts are unknown.”
Whoever this woman was, she flat out lied about being the owner and about purchasing the home “about one month ago.”
As we noted above, Linda and her ex-husband deeded that house to her father, Macellon Joseph, on December 11, 2012. Approximately four months later on April 19, 2013, Macellon sold the house by Warranty Deed to his second wife, Marthacia Exilus Joseph, who was Linda Joseph’s stepmother at the time she would have told the process server that she had no idea where Linda was.
On or about December 31, 2012 when this woman, who claimed to be a “CAROLINE HARRIS,” and who claimed to be the brand new owner of the Biscayne Gardens house, the actual owner of record of that property was Macellon Joseph, Linda’s father.
For some strange reason, we are not surprised.
6. As we already reported in Linda Joseph’s “Unclean Hands,” we told you all about the lawsuits filed against Linda Joseph, et al. We also told you that in order to satisfy the Final Judgment against her was the entry of a Writ of Execution, commanding the Sheriff to “levy on the property” of “Linda Joseph-Noel, a/k/a Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Marie Joseph.”
The only real property in the name of Linda Joseph at the time was a house that she and Mercy Noel, her now-ex-husband, had purchased on February 24, 2002 located at 12350 NW 15 Avenue, Miami, Florida 33167, which was then conveyed to Linda on July 15, 2002 by a Quit Claim Deed executed by Mr. Noel. On January 16, 2014 per F.S. 45.031, the Sheriff levied that property, advertised it for four (4) consecutive weeks, and sold it at auction on the Courthouse steps to the highest bidder on the Courthouse steps on March 26, 2014. The buyer, Credo LLC, purchased Linda’s house for a whopping $150.00 by a Sheriff’s Deed, and a year later sold it via a Tax Deed it for $73,700.00.
Instead of cutting her losses and moving on, two years later Linda Joseph filed a lawsuit against the legal owner of the property, Credo LLC, claiming that she was “entitled to the surplus funds as her claim is superior to that of the Defendants.”
As we explained in that blog, according to Linda Logic, when Credo, LLC sold her “foreclosed” property for $73,700.00 a year after it purchased it for $150.00, that she was entitled to the difference between what Credo, LLC received for the sale of its property and the $15,979.01 she was Court ordered to pay the Plaintiffs who sued her and won.
Needless to say, Credo, LLC, vigorously defended her frivolous Complaint and went full blast on her in its Answer by adding a Cross/Counterclaim, in which it referred to Linda Joseph as the “Fraudulent Claimant.”
A week later on April 21, 2016, Credo, LLC filed a Motion for Summary Judgment, attaching all the exhibits necessary to refute Linda Joseph’s Fraudulent Claim.
On April 28, 2016, Defendant Miami-Dade County Clerk filed its Answer to Complaint, flat out denying all of Linda’s allegations.
Six days later on May 4, 2016, Linda Joseph filed her Notice of Voluntary Dismissal, tucked her tail between her legs, and slithered all the way home.
Then again, as we’ve mentioned on more than one occasion, Linda Joseph is hardly the brightest bulb in the chandelier.
7. More fallout from Linda’s failed business occurred on October 22, 2013 when Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, Mercy Noel, and two of his relatives were on the receiving end of a foreclosure lawsuit filed by JP Morgan Chase Bank, NA. This one is super interesting in that it appears Linda, once again, attempted to avoid service and, once again, her stepmother appeared to have run cover for her.
On October 22, 2013 Chase Bank filed a Verified Mortgage Foreclosure Complaint against several members of the Noel family, their respective spouses, including Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel. The list of Defendants also included unknown Tenants #1 through #4, on the property located at 1212 NE 117 Street, Miami, Florida 33161. The property was initially purchased by two members of the Noel family on April 16, 1990, and a Quit Claim Deed was filed on Sepember 16, 2004 to include Linda Joseph’s ex-husband.
It’s important to note that Linda Joseph’s name has never appeared on this title as an owner. However, as the spouse of one of the owners, her name and signature appear on the Mortgage under the clause stating, “The undersigned executes this instrument only to subordinate any interest he/she may acquire including without reservation any homestead/dower rights and to acknowledge all the terms and covenants contained in this Security Instrument and any rider(s) thereto and agrees to be bound hereby.”
In plain English, this basically means that she signed the Mortgage only to agree that the bank’s rights to the property come before her own personal rights or future claims, and that she promises not to interfere with or break the rules of the Mortgage agreement.
On December 30, 2013, Chase Bank filed three documents with the Court that had to do specifically with Linda Joseph’s service of process. The first was a Notice of Action to Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, at her “Last Known Address” of 275 NW 157 Street, Miami, Florida 33169-6634. The Notice was filed to advise her of the lawsuit and that she was required to file a response within 30 days.
The second document filed was an Affidavit for Service by Publication, which basically states that “after a diligent search and inquiry” by Plaintiff, this Defendant “cannot be found within this state for service of summons.”
The third document filed by Chase Bank was Affidavit of Diligent Search and Inquiry, which was a sworn statement by the process server attesting to the process by which he attempted to serve Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, with a summons in this lawsuit, which was a nearly identical method used by the process server in the Wells Fargo foreclosure lawsuit mentioned above in item #5.
Nevertheless, when Chase Bank filed its Foreclosure Complaint, she was included as a Defendant because she signed the Mortgage document, which was the subject of the foreclosure action. This lawsuit went on for two years, at which time it was settled, as evidenced by a Final Disposition filed on November 12, 2015 dismissing the case “Pursuant to Settlement – Before Hearing,” followed by a Voluntary Dismissal filed on that same date.
While it is important to note that at the end of the day there was no Judgement filed against Linda Joseph in this foreclosure lawsuit, the fact that as a named Defendant she attempted to avoid service once again shows Linda’s inherent refusal to take responsibility for her actions.
We are not surprised.
Stay tuned…
Stephanie

My head is spinning trying to keep track of all these lawsuits and foreclosures. I don’t know how anyone could sleep at night with so much financial and legal turmoil going on, yet she seems to be carrying on as though everything is perfectly fine.
And now she wants to be a City Commissioner—someone who would have a say in how millions of dollars of taxpayers’ money are spent?
Given everything that has come to light, I have serious concerns about whether she is fit to hold public office. In my opinion, someone with this kind of financial and legal history should be nowhere near City Hall.
She’s obviously unfit for public office at any level, but that doesn’t stop ignorant, or even mentally ill, people from running.
The best you can do is get the word out to the voters of North Miami Beach and make sure she does NOT get elected!
Someone so irresponsible is not fit for any position that requires serious decision making. Linda Joseph, clearly has some mental issues, now I can understand the crazy ways she acts when she is at the commissioners meeting. I mean, who cannot see the moving of her eyes , and mouth, and the cursing . There’s a loose screw on that woman. One thing I can do is, give her my respect, for having mastered the disappearing act . Banks should sound their alarms, as soon as she enters their doors…
Great work tracking down this dog’s pedigree. I’m sure its universally agreed that this woman should never be empowered to make decisions on other peoples money. She’s proved she can’t manager her own finances.
It’s scary how irresponsible she is. Can you imagine this loser having any control over the City’s budget of $256,360,000? That alone should be a warning to North Miami Beach voters to make sure she doesn’t get a seat on the dais. She’s actually worse than Paule, as hard as that is to believe.
