North Miami Beach carpetbagging “candidate” Linda Joseph’s fantasy adventures as “Pension Board Trustee” LOL!

Some days these blogs just write themselves.

As we’ve mentioned a time or two, Linda Joseph likes to boast that she’s been a “Trustee” of the North Miami Beach General Employees Retirement Board “for years.”

She stated exactly that on Facebook in these (now deleted) two comments on August 31, 2026.

Unfortunately for Linda, she’s lying.

And as usual, we have the receipts.

As we already reported, on August 5, 2025, two days before Linda Joseph changed her address on her voter’s registration to her alleged “sister’s” house in North Miami Beach, she filed an Application with the City Clerk to to sit on the Retirement Board.

Due to a shortage of “legal residents of the City nominated by the Mayor and ratified by the City Commission” as required by Chapter II, Sec. 2-62 the City Charter and Code of Ordinances, Linda Joseph was permitted to be a a warm-bodied place sitter beginning with the August 12, 2025 meeting until her “appointment” could be officially ratified at the March 6, 2026 City Commission Meeting.

Even though referring to Linda as a “legal resident” was a stretch since the “address change” ink was barely dry on her Voter Audit Report.

We have obtained copies of all the Minutes of the General Employees’ Retirement Committee from 2024 through its most recent meeting on May 12, 2026.  Even though, as we previously told you, Linda Joseph fraudulently filed a 2024 Form 1 Financial Disclosure with the Florida Commission on Ethics, she did not serve on this Board at any time during that entire year.

No surprise there.

She did attend the meetings held on August 12, 2025 and November 4, 2025, but didn’t bother to show up to the February 10, 2026 meeting.

She did, however, manage to grace the Board with her presence at the May 12, 2026 meeting where she was the swing vote AGAINST the best interests of the taxpayers of North Miami Beach on a motion to have the actuary perform a “cost study for the seven employees that were impacted” by Ordinance 2013-15 to “increase the vesting requirement from six years to ten years of service.”

Because, as we already know, Linda’s only goal is to represent the unionized employees at the expense of the taxpaying residents of North Miami Beach.

Literally!

Bottom line, Linda Joseph has attended a grand total of only THREE, COUNT ‘EM THREE, North Miami Beach General Employees’ Retirement Board meetings in her entire pathetic life.

In the final analysis, her claim that she has been a “Trustee on the Pension Board FOR YEARS!” is a flat out lie of epic proportions.

But this lie is only the most recent one of the 35 whoppers we have documented in the Long List of Linda Lies, which we’ve been compiling since she first carpetbagged from her home in Biscayne Gardens to “run” in North Miami Beach.

Stay tuned …

    1. Unfortunately, if someone claims to move into the city at least one year before the qualifying period of the next election, they are allowed to run.

All she needed to do was change the address on her drivers license, which according to the MyDMVPortal, “You do not need to upload proof of address documents online, but you must certify under penalty of law that the new address is correct.” Then she changed her voter’s registration, and voila! She’s a “resident.” Also, since she claimed to move to her alleged “sister’s” house, she didn’t have to provide a lease or even a utility bill to the City Clerk, because obviously there was no lease or utility bill in her name.

It’s worthy to note that she never changed her mailing address in Biscayne Gardens with the Supervisor of Elections.

No one believes she was a “legal resident” until she rented a 500+ square foot studio apartment in NMB on February 5, 2026 and magically had a lease and a utility bill.

The woman is a liar and a fraud, and hopefully when she loses, she’ll go back to her 2,500+ square foot three-bedroom, two-bath home in Biscayne Gardens where she really lives.

  1. I have to know… Does it actually cause Linda physical pain to tell the truth? She seems completely incapable of telling the truth so I really wonder if accidentally telling the truth might cause her to fall down in crippling pain, if so she may want to get some Prozac.

    1. I don’t know if telling the truth is painful to her, but it’s similar to when someone is stupid.
