We are always fond of saying that water seeks it’s own level.
Especially when it comes to politics in North Miami Beach.
We already told you about the hypocrisy of North Miami Beach Commission candidate Ariel Vasquez, who suddenly turned all DSA after being a lifelong Republican.
We also told you about current Commissioner Jay Chernoff’s laughable trashing of his election opponent, Whitney Padote, for switching from GOP to NPA eight years ago, and recently becoming a Democrat.
To make matters worse, clueless Jay had the chutzpah to send out a second hit piece on Whitney, which is even more laughable than the first.
According to Team Jay, Whitney Padote committed the ultimate “crime” of voting as a REPUBLICAN in the 2018 Primary. Even though Whitney voted in 2020 as a DEMOCRAT, then switched to NPA until 2026, when he became a DEMOCRAT again, Jay hilariously believed this was the SCANDAL OF THE 2026 ELECTION SEASON!
Yeah, no.
By sheer coincidence, just this morning we received from the Miami-Dade County Office of the Supervisory of Elections the response to our public records request for Ariel’s Voter Audit Report, and look what we found!
It seems that Ariel was a REGISTERED DEMOCRAT until like five minutes ago!
Well, okay, we’re exaggerating a bit.
Ariel Vasquez actually left the REPUBLICAN PARTY a mere six months ago on April 2, 2026 to become an NPA for 24 hours before registering as a DEMOCRAT.
In fact, when he filed to run for a seat on the North Miami Beach City Commission on March 31, 2026 …
HE WAS STILL A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN!
OH, THE HORROR!
Bottom line, Jay’s attempt at bashing Whitney for being a registered Republican as far back as 2016 has just backfired on him big time!
Then again, we never accused Jay Chernoff as being the sharpest knife in the drawer.
In fact, Jay is actually at the Aventura Library voting sight campaigning as we speak with the newly converted REPUBLICAN, Ariel Vasquez.
Jay even cozily nestled his signs together with Ariel’s.
We’re thinking that Jay didn’t get the memo that his newest man crush, Ariel Vasquez, is actually on the same “team” with his opponent, Jasmine Rivera Joseph.

Jay had a handout he paid for supporting Angie Nixon. He is guilty as well for supporting the DSA. Anything to win the elections. He does not care for anyone but himself and filling his pockets.
Yes I saw that handout. All the DSA candidates were on there, especially Nixon and Linda Joseph. Jay doesn’t care about being on a slate with Jew-haters as long as he gets the outrageous salary and benefits package that Michael “Contempt of Congress” Joseph and his co-conspirators gifted themselves with.
