In Part 1 of this series we told you some of the names of individuals and entities who have been funding the shady political committee, Stronger NMB.

This is the PAC behind the petition to chop North Miami Beach into six (6) microscopic, .83-square mile districts, and to allow three North Miami Beach elected officials to overturn the term limits that residents overwhelmingly voted for on May 5, 2009.

Make no mistake, the plan to district the city is for the purpose of employing identity politics under the erroneous belief that “people of color” can’t get elected as long as more than one Eastern Shores resident is allowed to be elected.

The fact that there are currently three “people of color” sitting on the dais escapes the geniuses behind this scheme, who are also afflicted with terminal class envy, as misguided adherents of Marxism are wont to be.

As for their intent to abolish term limits, we remind readers that Charter Amendment 4 on the ballot for the 2009 municipal election posed the following question to voters:

4.  Adopting Term Limits of Eight Consecutive Years in Office for Mayor & City Council.

The City Charter currently does not limit the number of terms a person may serve as either the Mayor or a councilperson or any combination thereof.

It is proposed to limit time in office for any combination of service as Mayor and/or Councilperson to eight (8) consecutive years in office, not including time served filling a vacancy that occurs in the middle of a term. After being out of office for two (2) years, a person may run again.

Shall the above-described Charter Amendment be adopted?

According to the Miami-Dade County Elections Department, voters approved six out of seven of the proposed Charter Amendments.  The term limit Amendment passed with 69.04% of the vote.

The proponents of this initiative, include not only the three Criminal Commissioners on the dais who want to extend their feeding off the government trough for another ten years, but also two candidates they hope to add to their corrupt lineup so they can have the votes to steal even more of your tax dollars than they already do.

We’ve already warned you about Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, the carpetbagging liar, fraud, thief, racist, Jew-hating “candidate.”  (Lovely, right?)

But we’ve barely touched on the opportunistic, so-called “pastor” of 3rd Day Church, Ariel E. Vasquez, a former lifelong Republican who switched parties when he decided to run for office in North Miami Beach.

A deep dive into this particular theological concept revealed that:

“The vast majority of believers who subscribe to “Third Day” theology or attend these local churches lean politically conservative. In the United States and Canada, their political values strongly align with the right for several key reasons:

• The “Dominion” and “Kingdom” Mandate: Third Day theology heavily emphasizes establishing “God’s Kingdom on earth”. In practice, this often translates to “Kingdom-minded” voting, which focuses on electing leaders who defend religious liberties, support traditional family structures, and oppose secularist policy shifts.
• Social and Moral Issues: Members are culturally conservative, generally holding traditional, orthodox biblical views regarding marriage, gender, and the sanctity of life.
• Nationalism and Liberty: Many independent charismatic churches place a heavy emphasis on national revival, patriotism, and a skepticism of centralized government control (which fits the broader evangelical pushback against state overreach).”

In fact, two years ago in November 2024, when Amendment 4 to the state Constitution was on the ballot, the Catholic Diocese Charities of Palm Beach unequivocally urged Floridians to vote against it.

The Diocese issued an official statement:

“VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 4

An extremely grave amendment has been placed on the November 2024 ballot that seeks to erase pro-life protections by inserting language into the Florida Constitution banning regulation of abortion. This amendment to the Florida constitution would allow abortion up until birth, including when the baby is capable of feeling pain, and would eliminate laws requiring parental consent and safety protocols for women. The Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops is working hard to oppose this dangerous and deception amendment and urges all Floridians to vote ‘no’ on Amendment 4.”

As such, we are not surprised that a pastor of a church espousing Third Day theology would urge his congregation to VOTE NO ON 4.

But we certainly didn’t expect that Michael Joseph, a self-proclaimed “Progressive Democrat,” would be on board.

Then again, no one should be surprised since we all know that Michael is a chameleon with absolutely no core beliefs or morals.  He only cares about money and what he perceives as “power.”

We are, however, shocked that the alleged pastor of this 3rd Day Church would turn his back on what should be his core beliefs and morals for the apparent lure of a massive paycheck.

Obviously, the exorbitant paycheck for the part-time job of Commissioner is huge, especially for people like Linda and Ariel, whose incomes depend on which way the wind blows.

Linda Joseph’s claim to fame is that she’s a “community organizer,” a/k/a Marxist, a “job” that’s contingent on “working” on behalf of non-profits, labor unions, or political campaigns.  In Florida, organizers earn an average annual salary of about $42,169.  A regular paycheck of double that amount would go a long way to keep Linda’s fashionista wardrobe replenished.

Ariel Vasquez’s current salary is dependent on the generosity of his flock every Sunday when the offering plate is passed around.  Times must be tough right now or he wouldn’t be forced to advertise for a tenant to “share” in his lease.  Ariel’s only saving grace (no pun intended) is the 501(c)(3) tax exempt status he enjoys, courtesy of the Internal Revenue Service.  It would be a shame if the Church were to violate any of the provisions of 26 U.S. Code § 501, or especially 26 U.S. Code § 4955.

Just saying.

McKenzie Fleurimond, who now has another mouth to feed, also has no visible means of support other than his taxpayer funded NMB stipend, which is probably why he is so invested in having his term extended another ten years!

According to the FY 2025-26 Budget for the Mayor and Commissioners, the General Fund pays out between $87,758 to $99,922 for each Commissioner, depending on how many dependents need insurance coverage.

Of course, these salaries are nowhere near what North Miami elected officials make.  North Miami Beach voters should keep in mind that if Michael Joseph gets a four-vote majority again, they will give themselves raises of at least 25-30% or more.

But, we digress.

Sort of.

We ended Part 1 by telling you that the names of those who donated, both directly and indirectly, to get this divisive petition on November’s ballot, might come as a surprise to anyone who isn’t familiar with the strange bedfellow politics of North Miami Beach.  Once we followed the money trail, a lot of things came to light that we should have known all along if we had looked in the right places.

And now that we have, it’s all making sense.

The campaign finances of the Stronger NMB political committee is just the tip of the iceberg, while Communities First Project PC seems to be the conduit which funneled the funds between and among another separate, but related political committee.

Which brings us to the weird connections between Stronger NMB, Communities First Project PC, and a Miami-Dade County political committee, South Florida Vision, which was filed on May 12, 2021, and which donated a total of $7,500.00 to Community First Project PC since the beginning of this year.

According to the Statement of Organization of South Florida Vision, this political committee’s officers are David Moscoso and Carlos M. Trueba.

Until April of last year, Mr. Moscoso was an attorney at the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff, where lobbyist José Keichi Fuentes also works.  On his official Becker & Poliakoff page, Mr. Fuentes lists as his clients both the City of North Miami Beach, as well as one of it’s most prominent vendors, ProKel Mobility.

Interestingly, José Keichi Fuentes (“affectionately” known in the lobby industry as “Chino”) has been the registered lobbyist in North Miami Beach for ProTransporation, Inc., d/b/a ProKel Mobility, since July 3, 2023 for the purpose of lobbying NMB elected officials to continuously renew ProKel’s contract with the city.

At the same time, Fuentes is the negotiator of the most recent annual $85,992 contract between the City of North Miami Beach and his firm, Becker & Poliakoff, which offered “to provide lobbying services for Annexation Applications in Miami-Dade County.”  The Mayor and Commission approved this Resolution at the June 16, 2026 Commission Meeting.

The irony of a lobbyist working both sides of the aisle, so to speak, does not surprise us.

After all, Florida Super Lobbyist Ron Book does it all the time.

What does surprise us is the odd convergence of individuals and entities who are literally on opposite sides of the political spectrum, yet strangely interested in a tiny, 5-square mile piece of globally insignificant real estate known as the City of North Miami Beach.

We are especially intrigued by the money trail among them.
