The Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections posted the results throughout the county last night.
But the only results we cared about were the three Commission races in North Miami Beach.
While Commissioner Phyllis Smith won her seat back outright (thank God!), the other two races will be heading for a runoff since none of the candidates reached the magical threshold of 50% plus 1 of the total votes cast.
Incumbent Jay Chernoff, who won 32.63% of the vote, and Jasmine Rivera Joseph, who won 42.73%, will face each other on December 1, 2026.
VotersOpinion, which endorsed civil engineer Whitney Padote, is not endorsing any candidate in this runoff election.
At least not yet.
A vote for either Jay or Jasmine is probably a vote for the advancement of mayor Michael “Contempt of Congress” Joseph’s self-interests and against the best interests of North Miami Beach residents.
If voters really care about their government, in a perfect world they would protest both of them and vote for Whitney as a write-in candidate.
We have been told by several residents, however, that they will support Jay this time because since this is his last term, he doesn’t have to suck Michael’s, er, we mean, suck up to the corrupt mayor for his support.
Plus, it was Mayor Contempt of Congress who put Jasmine in Jay’s seat in the first place, so there’s always the chance that Jay will open his eyes and realize that Michael Joseph was never his friend to begin with.
Not that we’re expecting him to see the truth that’s right in front of him.
Either way, Jay Chernoff burned so many bridges, we’re not really caring if he wins or loses.
The fact that carpetbagging, Jew-hating, lying, psychopath of a “candidate,” Linda Joseph, managed to get the nod of 20% of all North Miami Beach’s 24,157 registered voters only proves that the world is truly imperfect.
As imperfect as the 4,835 low-information voters who never bothered to do actual research about the literally fraudster they voted for.
Then again, the fact that only about 40% of all registered voters in North Miami Beach bothered to participate in their municipal election in a county where voter turnout was 60.5%, only proves there was no overwhelming concern about the massive corruption on the dais at City Hall.
It’s almost as if they don’t even know that their mayor was held in Contempt of Congress and will most likely be indicted (and hopefully, removed from office) before his term is up.
This blogger ventured South of the Border yesterday to check out the election day festivities, and I encountered Crazy Eyes Linda for the first time.
It was really hilarious moment, especially when she — AS USUAL — called me a racist.
When I laughed in her face and said, “Yes, I know. We’re ALL racists,” she actually said, “No, only YOU!”
Never mind the DOZENS OF PEOPLE she’s been calling racist in emails and on social media for months!
ESPECIALLY THOSE OF US WHO ARE JEWISH!
Which is exactly the reason she was banned from the social media site, Nextdoor, FOR LIFE!
In any event, in the runoff between long-time North Miami Beach resident, Dayanara Torres, and the carpetbagging Biscayne Gardens resident, Linda “Fraud” Joseph, the VotersOpinion endorsement is a no-brainer.
North Miami Beach residents deserve better than a carpetbagging, Jew-hating, lying, psychopath on the dais at City Hall!
