The most entertaining segment from Thursday night’s North Miami Beach Commission Meeting, was when Linda Joseph, sometimes known as Linda Joseph Noel, went up to the podium during public comment.

And by entertaining, we mean hilariously cringe-worthy.

At 6:28:11 pm, the City Clerk announced that “Linda Joseph, and then Dayanara Torres,” were next in line to speak.

As usual, Linda made a grand spectacle of herself.

For some odd reason, she refused to walk up to the podium and then appeared to insist that Dayanara, who is one of her opponents in the November 3, 2026 municipal election, speak first.

Dayanara Torres was clearly surprised to be asked to jump the line, yet she cheerfully accepted the assignment as she greeted the members of the Commission and others in the room.

She went on to speak about how unified the city’s residents are and how important it was for them to have a professional legal department.  Dayanara did not personally disparage the current occupant of the City Attorney’s seat, Joseph S. Geller, even though no one is more deserving of disparagement, but she simply stated that North Miami Beach residents deserve better.

Then Linda Joseph strutted up to the podium like she owned the place, and her attitude was the polar opposite of Dayanara’s serene and composed demeanor.

Aside from her insanely hideous grammar, pay close attention to her intensifying histrionic delivery and wacky darting eyes, which tell you all you need to know.

Linda initially made an attempt at civility by first stating, “Good evening, mayor, Commissioner, and and the great residents of North Miami Beach.”

Then she launched into one of her infamous, angry tirades, which we will painstakingly transcribe word for word so you get the full picture of the apparent crackpot who is asking for your vote.

Keep in mind that these are her words, verbatim and unedited, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

“I’m here tonight because I STRONGLY oppose the remove of Joe Galler.”

Yes, she literally called him “Galler,” despite the fact that his name is “Geller.”

The City Clerk then reminded Linda to state her name for the record, and she hilariously forgot her own address.

“Oh, Linda Joseph, 170 Northwest [pregnant pause] West Dixie Highway.”

Nevertheless, the freak show continued.

“I repeat [exasperated sigh], I [exasperated sigh] completely disagree with the removal of Joe Galler.  Joe Galler’s been in this community for forty decades, I mean four decades.  He understand legal law.  He understand economics.  He understand with law.”

With his expertise, he’s one of the best lawyers in this country.  He is nationally recognized.

So you guys wanna talk about in house attorneys.  You know them cost of a in house attorney?  And this attorney with his level of experience?

I am a PROUD owner AND a member of Stronger NMB.  Did Joe Galler and this team gimme everything we know we deserve?  No!  He was fair.  He was impartial.  And he was good.  And he got back to us.  So when we talk about FISCAL responsibility, you cannot shove that word back and forth where you want to.  A in house attorney would be very expensive.  SPECIALLY for the level of experience that Joe have.

As an aside and for the record, there are no “owners” of the political committee, Stronger NMB.  We have no idea WTF Linda is talking about when she says she’s a “proud owner” of that PAC.

Also for the record, as we previously reported, Stronger NMB has not only spent every single penny of its shady funding, but is actually in the hole for $23.08.  Yeah, Linda should be very “proud” of that LOL!

And let’s talk about the one you all are thinking about bringing in, is charging thirty five thousand dollars a month.  What is the residents are getting for that?  And who is he?  And why is he coming here?  Does he live in our city?  Do he understand economic dollars locally?  Do you understand what his expertise is?  These are the questions we need to know.

And if you do have to return the, if you do have to remove the attorney, how are we gonna select the next one?  It will be open and honest and transparent, and not a friend of a commissioner?  If you wanna know the truth, that is the truth.  The align of this, attorney, who’s done everything right.  He’s being punished for doing the right thing and following the law.  Anybody who come against him I will campaign against that, cuz that is not right.  You should be rewarded for doing the right thing and punished for the wrong.  Thank you.

Now that we’ve composed ourselves from watching that hilarious performance, let’s try to interpret her ludicrous, and mostly nonsensical comments.

For starters, Joe Geller is not “nationally recognized.”

Even Google AI is well aware of the scope of Joe’s “fame,” and that his alleged acclaim is derived mainly from his self-promoting website, Greenspoon Marder, LLP.

As far as the “cost of a in house attorney,” Linda obviously didn’t read the memo.

LITERALLY!

Attached to the Coversheet of the proposed Resolution No. R2026-118 Terminating and Replacing Greenspoon Marder LLP, is a Memo which actually spelled out the cost of hiring Steven W. Zelkowitz, PA, as Interim City Attorney.

“The retainer for Steven W. Zelkowitz, PA will be $35,000 per month as compared to the current monthly retainer of $50,393 for a period not to exceed six months.”

We know you’re paranoid AF Linda.  But absolutely no one tried to hide the cost from you or anyone else LOL!

As for Linda’s equally ridiculous accusation that the Commissioners are “shoving that word back and forth” (her reference to “that word” being “fiscal responsibility,” which is actually two words, but who’s counting? LOL!), we bring to your attention the the FACT that the Memo even literally spelled out the “financial impact” in a paragraph entitled … “Financial Impact.”

This paragraph reads [emphasis ours]:

“There are no penalty fees associated with the termination of Greenspoon Marder with the only further charges being related to unbilled services for work that may be underway. The City will further realize savings of slightly over $15,000 per month in retainer fees for the period that the services of Steven W. Zelkowitz, PA are required as Interim City Attorney. It is further believed that the implementation of an in-house Office of the City Attorney will save the City between $750,000 and $1,000,000 annually by greatly reducing the requirement for external legal services”

Hey, Linda!  Tell us you didn’t read the agenda without saying you didn’t read the agenda.

As for Linda’s next lament, “And let’s talk about the one you all are thinking about bringing in, is charging thirty five thousand dollars a month.  What is the residents are getting for that?  And who is he?  And why is he coming here?  Does he live in our city?  Do he understand economic dollars locally?  Do you understand what his expertise is?  These are the questions we need to know.”

Sure thing, hon.  Let’s talk about it.

The attorney that Linda seems to know nothing about, the esteemed Steven W. Zelkowitz, who was admitted to the Florida Bar on February 26, 1992, just happens to be the designated legal counsel for the City of North Miami Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and he has held that position since March 2014.

If Linda had actually lived in North Miami Beach for more than five minutes she’d know exactly who Steven W. Zelkowitz is.

(And, yes, Linda.  We realize you’re not intelligent enough to speak sarcasm, but that’s exactly what that was.)

Let’s school Linda Joseph on the answer to her grammatically mangled question, “What is the residents the residents getting for that?”

Mr. Zelkowitz is also the current attorney for the North Miami CRA, the Northwest 79th Street Community Redevelopment Agency, and the Northwest 7th Avenue Corridor Community Redevelopment Agency.

As for Linda’s stunningly clueless question to the commissioners if they “understand what his expertise is,” we are only too happy to provide an answer.

According to his LinkedIn page, Mr. Zelkowitz has been associated with an impressive list of prestigious law firms during his career.

In fact, Linda, Mr. Zekowitz’ has been doing his job, and doing it well, years before you were even registered to vote in Miami-Dade County.

Just saying.

And, furthermore, Mr. Zelkowitz has degrees from two of the most distinguished universities in the entire country.

Joe Geller’s experience and education, on the other hand, pales in comparison.

He was admitted to the Florida Bar on March 18, 1980, and, according to his LinkedIn page, he set up a practice with his brother, Steven Geller, until he joined the firm of Greenspoon Marder, PA in March of 2008.

While FSU is an excellent school, it’s certainly no Rutgers.

But, hey.  Go ‘Noles!

Well, we did promise you some comic relief.

And frankly, there’s nothing more comical than watching Linda Joseph make a complete fool of herself at a public meeting, on a public video recording for posterity.

On a serious note, however, it should be painfully obvious to anyone capable of rational thinking that there is something seriously wrong with Linda Joseph.  If you watch her in action, you should quickly pick up on the fact that there appears to be something pathologically unstable about her.

We here at VotersOpinion are not psychologists, of course.  But we are perfectly capable of comprehensive reading, researching, and coming to reasonable, well thought out conclusions.  And what we did fine was quite telling.

According to a article on psychopathy published by Psychology Today:

“Psychopathy is a spectrum disorder and can be diagnosed using the 20-item Hare Psychopathy Checklist, which features traits such as lack of empathy, pathological lying, and impulsivity, each scored on a three-point scale based on whether the item does not apply (0), applies to a certain extent (1), or fully applies (2) to the individual. The bar for clinical psychopathy is a score of 30 or higher; serial killer Ted Bundy scored 39.

The checklist was developed in the 1970s by the Canadian researcher Robert Hare and remains the gold standard for clinical diagnosis. A true assessment should be conducted by a mental health professional.

The revised version of the checklist includes the following characteristics:

• Glibness/superficial charm
• Grandiose sense of self-worth
• Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
• Pathological lying
• Conning/manipulative
• Lack of remorse or guilt
• Shallow affect (i.e., reduced emotional responses)
• Callous/lack of empathy
• Parasitic lifestyle
• Poor behavioral controls
• Promiscuous sexual behavior
• Early behavioral problems
• Lack of realistic, long-term goals
• Impulsivity
• Irresponsibility
• Failure to accept responsibility for one’s own actions
• Many short-term marital relationships
• Juvenile delinquency
• Revocation of conditional release (from prison)
• Criminal versatility (i.e., commits diverse types of crimes)”

Even those of us who have never personally met Linda Joseph, but have only watched her flagrantly disturbing behavior at recorded public meetings, especially this deranged two and one-half minute performance, can clearly see that she appears to exhibit at least ten of these characteristics.

We have no way of knowing how many of the other above traits might aptly describe this woman, but we wouldn’t be surprised if a few more than ten of them would apply.

One thing that should be obvious to North Miami Beach residents is that AI Linda is radically different from IRL Linda.

Just saying.

Regardless of where she lives, who her alleged sister is, whether she was born in Haiti or the Bahamas, or her views are toward Jews, the truth of which none of us will ever know for sure, there is one thing that we are absolutely certain about …

There appears to be something very, very wrong with Linda Joseph, and I would advise anyone who comes in contact with her to run in the opposite direction.

It must really suck to be her, but it will suck even more for the residents of North Miami Beach if she cons enough people into voting for her.
