Open Letter to Linda Joseph-Noel – Why are you okay with corruption? Why are you okay with being a compulsive liar?
Dear Linda Joseph-Noel,
I for the life of me cannot understand your overwhelming need to publicly defend the corruption of the disgraceful Michael Joseph. Unfortunately, this has been the common denominator in all of my interactions with you. The first time I had the displeasure of meeting you in person, it was at the city commission meeting where you both lied about your name and apparently your voting record – you did say that you voted for Michael Joseph. In addition to your need to defend public corruption, the fact that you seem to be allergic to the truth is also concerning. Both of these character flaws show how deeply predisposed you are to corruption and show that you are woefully unfit to hold public offices.
It goes without saying that I too am not afraid of your threats; bring it on – I have the resources to hold you accountable in ways that others won’t. You are unfit to hold public office, and I encourage you to end your campaign, or this will be an expensive mistake for you. If you doubt my abilities, ask Paule. My pockets are deep enough to hold you accountable for your actions.
Are you okay with the fact that Michael Joseph and Hector Roos played a pivotal role in the establishment of shell companies to funnel foreign funds into US politics?
Let me be very clear: I am not okay with this, and a rational/ethical person would not be as well. Why do you feel the need to jump in and defend him? If you cannot take a hard-lined stand against corruption as a candidate, this guarantees you will be complacent with corruption if the residents of North Miami Beach are foolish enough to elect you to hold public office.
Make your choice now – Are you pro-Michael Joseph or against corruption? You can’t be both. Are you against antisemitic speech or pro Darializa Avila Chevalier? Again, you can’t be both.
Why are you a compulsive liar?
My first interaction with you started out as a lie, and it seems like your moral compass is perfectly fine with lying your ass off. Let’s go down the list of some of the lies you have told. Before you try to brush off these lies as nothing, if you can’t tell the truth now, why should anyone in North Miami Beach trust you to tell the truth on anything else? You are now and will always be a compulsive liar.
Why did you sign in to for Public Comment using a fake name? – Everyone who speaks at public comment, including myself, is required to use their real name and provide their address. This has been the norm for as long as I have been involved with city politics. As a compulsive liar, you seem to have no problems with lying about this. Again, why should we trust you to be able to tell the truth?
Did you vote for Michael Joseph or not? – During that initial City Council meeting where you crawled out of the dumpster and lied about your name, you made the bold claim that you voted for Michael Joseph, but apparently that must have been a lie, as there is no evidence to support that you voted in any North Miami Beach election – so either you lied or admitted to voter fraud – which is it?
Where were you born? – I have seen you make claims of both Haiti and the Bahamas; which is it? This is not about whether you are “American enough,” but to help to determine which group of people you are pandering to is being told the truth and which is being told lies. Again, if you experience no problems lying to people as a candidate, why should you be trusted to tell the truth?
Do please take a moment and tell the truth for once in your life – are you okay with the corruption of the Mayor and why are you are a compulsive liar.

Mr. Myers, let me be very clear: I am not okay with corruption. I am also not okay with declaring someone guilty before the legal process has played out.
The House contempt vote concerns Mayor Michael Joseph’s alleged failure to comply with congressional subpoenas. It is serious, but it is not a criminal conviction proving that he committed the underlying campaign-finance allegations. Supporting due process does not mean supporting corruption.
My name is Linda Joseph. I previously used Linda Joseph-Noel. That is not a fake identity. I was born in Haiti and raised in Miami, and I have never hidden that. Whether I participated in an election may be reflected in public voter records, but whom I voted for is protected by the secret ballot.

Linda, sweetie. You are not just a “compulsive liar.” You have definitely escalated to pathological liar. If you were born in Haiti, as you claim, you still have not addressed the issue of why the Marriage Certificate that YOU applied for shows that you were born in the Bahamas.
Facts do not lie, even if you constantly do.
Great letter Keith, and a spot on take of Linda Joseph. Being a compulsive liar is not a good trait for being a Commissioner. She can’t help herself. She wants to be in charge so bad that there isn’t anything she won’t lie about, including where she really lives in Biscayne Gardens, where she has lived for the past almost 20 years. She has learned how to sell herself to a developer to get her campaign funded and give her pocket cash to pay for her wardrobe, wigs, and an apartment in an attempt to establish her fake residency. Of course she teamed up with our sleezebag mayor who was just charged with contempt of congress today. She makes the perfect companion to him. Liar Dee and Liar Duh.
Let me be completely honest.
If I ever decided to take everything that has happened since I announced my campaign to my national network of Black women, this situation could go viral. I have documented the posts, the name-calling, the threats, the attacks on my character, the attempts to have my endorsements rescinded, and the contact with my employer.
I have photographs of people following me and taking pictures of my vehicle. I have messages and calls from people telling me that members of this same group were searching for candidates to run against me. I have preserved what was written and said. My file is now 26 pages long, and it shows what I believe is a disturbing pattern that began the moment I decided to run for office.
I am talking about the same group of people Mr. Myers tagged in his earlier post. They know exactly who they are.
The language directed at Black women and other Black, Brown, and Asian members of our community has been vile, misogynistic, and, in my view, racially charged. The repeated attacks against Black and Brown elected officials and candidates cannot simply be ignored—especially when some of the people involved claim to believe in Democratic values.
This is exactly why we say: protect Black women.
But I refuse to allow the behavior of a few people to define North Miami Beach or damage its reputation nationally. This is a great city filled with good, decent people. Most residents do not behave this way, and they do not deserve to have their community judged by the actions of a small group.
I love North Miami Beach too much to let that happen. But let there be no misunderstanding: I have kept the evidence, I know the pattern, and I will protect myself and my community
Please! Go take “everything” to your “national network of Black women.”

And I have another honest question for you: Why does your strongest anger appear to be directed toward Black politicians and other officials of color? I have personally seen you attack Black commissioners, a Black mayor, and now a Black woman running for office. I have not seen you direct this same level of anger, name-calling, and threats toward officials who are not people of color. Maybe there are examples I have not seen, but based on what I have witnessed, I have to wonder why.
You claim to believe in Democratic values, yet this pattern is exactly why we continue saying: protect Black women.

Hey Linda….on top of being a delusional liar, you threaten those that point out your lies with being labeled racist. People are highlighting your life history, not because you are black, but because you lie about everything, You lie about your birth location, You lie about being a lifelong resident of NMB when you don’t really live there. You fail to address your previous Love For Biscayne Gardens in which you played a critical part in trying to get residents there to vote to form a City in which you expected to get a high-paying position in. You aligned yourself with a racist group who attacked anyone white who spoke against the incorporation of Biscayne Gardens. You lied about voting for Michael Joseph when you were ineligible to vote for him due to your residency issue. If people are photographing you as you claim, its because you are a public figure running for office in NMB. By doing so, you swore and attested to you having residency in NMB for the year prior to you filing to run for office. Residents of NMB have every right to verify if you live in the City of NMB. There is substantial evidence that you were/are not a resident within the time frame you attested to. Dayanara Torres, a candidate for City Commission, is a black woman who has the support of the same people you are calling racists because they are not supporting you. People are not supporting you because you are a pathological liar about your background, your current status, and your threatening vocal and written words. Nobody cares what color you are so get over it.
You are such a racist for pointing out that Linda (1) lied about where she was born, (b) lied that she is a “life-long resident of NMB,” (c) lied that she voted for Michael Joseph, (d) lied that she was a “trustee on the pension board for years,” (e) lied that a complaint against her was “frivolous” and “dismissed,” and frankly (f) lied about pretty much everything else in her life.
