On May 23, 2024, the States Newsroom published Jacksonville Democratic Rep. Angie Nixon stood with pro-Palestinian protestors at UNF. The article highlighted the “alleged” antisemitism of then-State Representative, who is now the newly elected, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidate for the United States Senate.
The article reported, “In November, Nixon faced intense backlash from state legislators, even those in her party, after calling for a resolution demanding a cease-fire in the conflict that erupted after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel.”
Just yesterday, Ynet News described the scene in ‘I’m on the right side of history’: anti-Israel Democrat Angie Nixon wins Florida Senate primary and reported, “A month after the October 7 massacre, Angie Nixon stood on the floor of the Florida House of Representatives and tried to persuade her colleagues to support a resolution calling for an end to Israel’s fighting in Gaza. Most lawmakers rose from their seats and turned their backs on her as she spoke. Only one other lawmaker voted with her, and the resolution was defeated 104-2.“
According to that article, “Nixon describes Israel’s actions in the enclave as genocide, has said she would support ending U.S. aid to Israel and received backing from Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, former Rep. Cori Bush and anti-Zionist groups including Jewish Voice for Peace and TrackAIPAC.”
The article further revealed, “Rick Stark, chairman of the Florida Democratic Party’s Jewish caucus, said after a Zoom conversation with Nixon that she did not give a clear answer when asked whether Israel had the right to exist as a Jewish state and declined to condemn the slogan ‘From the river to the sea.'”

Israel National News/Arutz Sheva also published Anti-Israel progressive Angie Nixon scores upset in Florida Senate primary and reported, “Nixon is anti-Israel and received backing from Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a member of the “Squad” of anti-Israel progressives and herself a prominent critic of Israel.”
Nixon had also been scheduled last week to appear at a Democratic Socialists of America campaign event featuring Tlaib. The event was canceled by The Venue Fort Lauderdale after the Jewish-owned establishment reviewed the gathering and cited security concerns. The venue explained that it is ‘Jewish-owned and operated’ and that its ‘values and commitment to the Jewish community are deeply important to us.'”
It certainly appears to be widely recognized that Democratic Socialist Angie Nixon and her supporters are “anti-Israel” or “anti-Zionism,” which are merely “progressive” code words for Jew-hatred!
Meanwhile, on her Facebook page, North Miami Beach commission candidate, Linda Joseph, a/k/a Linda Joseph Noel, posted “A special shout-out to my , [sic] colleague, and fellow SEIU labor organizer.”
To be clear, we are not accusing Linda Joseph of anything.
Anything at all.
We are merely referring to two common adages:
- Water seeks its own level
- We are judged by the company we keep
In essence, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck …
Just saying.
