The legacy media is nothing more than a propaganda machine spewing all the talking points you are expected to blindly accept without question.
From the origins of COVID, to alleged safety of the “vaccine,” to the summer 2020’s “fiery but mostly peaceful” riots, to Biden’s “perfectly fine” mental acuity, and every other myth in between, the media tells us what it wants us to believe, and we are supposed to swallow every lie, hook, line, and sinker.
The problem for the media is that the internet is forever. And anyone with a working brain cell has the capacity to dig up the truth.
For example, in 2024 the media claimed that “climate change is increasing the power of hurricanes.”
Except, that’s not even remotely true.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the most intense (unnamed) hurricane in recorded history (1851 to 2023) in the continental United States hit the Florida Keys as a Cat 5 in 1935.
In fact, until 2004’s Hurricane Charley slammed into Florida’s west coast, and ranked #17 according to the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Andrew was (and still is) ranked #3 in terms of intensity — and that was 33 years ago!
Today, I was reminded once again that the media cannot be hated nearly enough.
In Hurricane Center Warns Potential Storm Emerging Off Florida Coast, Newsweek reported that “a possible storm forming in the Atlantic Ocean east of Florida that has the potential to develop into a cyclone—an event unheard of in March were it to move into the Sunshine State.”
Unheard of?
Oh, really?
Well, I’m old enough to remember a certain “No-Name Storm,” a/k/a the Storm of the Century, which unexpectedly hit the Atlantic coast on — March 12, 1993.
This pre-hurricane season hurricane formed in the Gulf of Mexico, and rammed into Florida early the next morning, making it nearly impossible for me to drive from North Miami Beach to my in-laws’ house in North Miami, less than three miles away. When I couldn’t reach them by phone, I rushed down there to make sure everyone was safe.
I remember driving south down West Dixie Highway, which was barely above water, while entire parking lots were flooded on either side. I still remember to this day the horror of seeing only the hoods of cars showing above the water line and wondering if anything would ever go back to normal.
I’m guessing most of you reading this blog also remember that brutal March storm, which today’s media insists is an event unheard of in March.
Proving, once again, that you cannot hate the media enough, no matter how much you try.

You opinions about national news media are ridiculous. Where do y you get the notion that the media is controlled by the government? Can you offer any proof?
Sure.

There is plenty of information about the government manipulating the media if you take the time to look for it. There are also plenty of “conspiracy theories” that have proven to be true. Once you start digging with an open mind, you’ll be amazed at what you will uncover.

And yet another interesting fact from Northwestern University Law Review: https://northwesternlawreview.org/issues/apple-pie-propaganda-the-smith-mundt-act-before-and-after-the-repeal-of-the-domestic-dissemination-ban/
And DingDongDonald is turning Voice of America into state run media.
TDS much?
