As we already reported in There’s always one in every NMB election. 🙄, North Miami Beach Commission candidate “Maggy Magdala Belizaire Lopez”, whose real name is Magdala Niclasse, would have done well to stay out of the limelight.

In that blog, we revealed that Magdala Niclasse:

• Uses multiple aliases, including “Desh,” “Belizaire,” “Lopez,” or “Escarment,” none of which are verifiable.
• Is a party to twenty-one cases filed in Miami-Dade County, and nine cases in Broward County.
• Has been served with two eviction lawsuits.
• Has been accused of stalking, domestic violence, and repeat violence.
• Claims to be a “tax preparer” and “immigration expert,” according to a company she formed in 2019 called, Desh Income Tax & Immigration Services, LLC.
• Claims to be a resident in North Miami Beach, while owning a home in Miramar.

Our exposé of this shady individual appears to have ruffled the feathers of at least two of her “supporters,” who submitted comments to our blog to defend Magdala’s “honor.”

The first one sent in on October 15, 2024 from Ritha Estimable attempted to explain all of Magdala’s aliases.  She also insisted that Magdala was “not evicted from any houses.”  Although we never stated that Magdala Niclasse was evicted, we did produce public records showing that eviction proceedings were filed against her.

In fact, regarding the Broward County eviction we specifically stated, “Less than two months later, her landlord, IPTD LLC, voluntarily dismissed the case.  We don’t know if she paid the past due rent or simply moved out.”

In her comment, Ritha Estimable also urged VotersOpinion to “investigate” someone called “Michael Shauvel,” who allegedly stole “$45 thousand” from Maggy in some type of real estate fraud scheme, for which he “went to jail.”

We followed up on Ritha Estimable’s “tip” and found no such individual by the name of “Michael Shauvel” in either Miami-Dade or Broward County, much less a criminal case involving this alleged criminal.

Ritha Estimable also noted that Magdala Niclasse’s daughter was sadly killed this year, and then admonished this blogger to “Stop with your bs and help the authorities find the bad guys.”

We’re not sure how she thinks we can help with that, but whatever.

The second comment, which was sent on October 16, 2024 by a Natasha Joseph, attempted to explain all the mysterious aliases and residency questions.

When we didn’t immediately approve her comment, Natacha [sic] Joseph got her panties twisted and sent in this lovely comment the next day accusing this blogger of being a “RACIS” [sic].

We can see that spelling and grammar are not her strong suit.

We can also see that Natasha/Natacha Joseph is unclear on the concept of getting more flies with honey than with vinegar (or as my mama used to say, horse shit).  If she expected us to approve her hot mess of a comment in which she tried to insult me, she’s not exactly the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

We find it curious that Neither Ritha Estimable nor Natasha Joseph mentioned Magdala’s real last name of Niclasse, while attempting to explain all the fake names she’s been using.

Then again, both of them made sure to mention that Magdala Niclasse is a “tax expert.”  After a quick perusal of the Campaign Treasurer’s Reports she’s already filed for this 2024 municipal election, however, you’d be hard pressed to believe she’s adept at basic math, much less the complex job of preparing tax returns.

Let’s just say, you’d do well to hire an actual accountant to prepare your tax returns.

A more comprehensive — and infinitely more believable — description of scam artist Magdala Niclasse came in the form of a comment submitted by “North Miami Resident” on October 21, 2024.

Wow, she sounds like a real gem, huh?

In any event, of all the Group 7 candidates running for a seat on the North Miami Beach Commission, the scam artist known as Magdala Niclasse is not even worth considering.

On November 5, 2024, please vote responsibly.
