POPCORN ALERT! Dueling Demons Vie to be Mayor of North Miami Beach!

We bust a gut laughing when we heard that on July 10, 2024 Criminal Commissioner Michael Joseph filed to run for Mayor of North Miami Beach.

Even more hilarious, two days later ex-Criminal Commissioner (and  consecutive two-time election loser) Paule Villard also threw her hat in the ring to vie for the mayoral seat.

Both of these corrupt career politicians will be running against incumbent Mayor Evan Piper, who kicked Paule’s ample butt in the Special Election on December 5, 2023.

Keep in mind that Michael and Paule, along with their fellow corruptocrats on the dais, McKenzie Fleurimond and Daniela Jean, conspired for two years to destroy the City of North Miami Beach and raped its coffers dry.

As we all know, Michael Joseph is a power hungry career criminal politician, whose only aspiration is to move up the ladder to higher office.  And he will do anything — and we mean anything — to achieve his goal.

Michael is infamous for having his anonymous surrogate army attack anyone who stands in his way.

Michael also attempted to extort two lawyers by offering his vote to hire their firm as City Attorney in exchange for revising a legal opinion.

He’s also known for throwing temper tantrums when he doesn’t get his way.

Paule Villard is a retired Miami cop, who was hired to fill a quota and tucked away in Little Haiti as a “community resource officer” where she could do the least amount of damage.  She then retired 21 years to the day she was hired.

But as we all know, thanks to public records, Paule continuously lies that she served “28 years as a City of Miami Police Sergeant.”

It’s hardly surprising that these two former allies are now foes.  The Haitian-American political class has always been rife with fracture and contention, making it nearly impossible to keep track of who is on speaking terms with whom on any given day.

While in office together, Michael Joseph and Paule Villard were solid partners in crime.  And now, they’re not.  We’ll probably never know what imperceptible slight caused such a rift in their convenient unity pact that Paule chose to throw a monkey wrench into Michael’s run for Top Dog.

Then again, with Paule it could be strictly for the money.

Keep in mind, like her former colleagues McKenzie and Daniela, Paule Villard doesn’t have a real job.

Since she left the Miami PD, aside from her negligible retirement stipend, Paule’s only source of income — courtesy of North Miami Beach taxpayers — was during her four year gig as a “public servant” from 2018 to 2022 when she was a useless one-term Commissioner.

By now, Paule is so broke she still doesn’t have the money to fix her leaky, tarp-covered roof — and it’s been at least three years!

Nevertheless, there is apparently neither honor nor loyalty among thieves.

It will certainly be interesting to see which of these two losers will benefit from the financial backing of the Haitian Mafia Coalition.

Our money’s on Michael.

Not because anyone likes him, mind you.  But only because everyone despises the utterly classless, vile Paule Villard.

According to Paule, however, it’s not her fault, but the fault of her “entire community.”

After she lost her seat by a wide margin in a Runoff Election to Jay Chernoff on November 22, 2022, she attacked her fellow Haitians in a hilarious Facebook Live post (which she has since deleted) by whining, “Yeah, they do, they have bad intentions.  They just don’t like to see people succeeding.  You know they don’t want the good things.  They feel like all the fame is gonna be for you and then they want to hurt you.  You know it’s really sad.  Haitian people are hurting a Haitian, you know.  It’s just like we don’t know, don’t like each other.  We just want to hurt each other.  Most of the time, you know.  But, you know I pray, I’ll be fine.  I’ll be fine.”

Although it’s probably the only time Paule was ever honest about something, the fact that she thinks being a public servant is about being famous is reason enough to send her packing for the third time in a row!

But, hey!  It’s not as if Paule Villard has any shame or self-awareness.  If she did, she’d lay off the Facebook Live videos permanently.

Just saying.

In any event, start popping the corn.

We have so much freaking dirt on both of these demons, on November 5, 2024 you’ll know exactly who NOT to vote for!

  1. Never a dull election cycle in NMB. Thanks Stephanie for the popcorn alert. I invested in popcorn stock two years ago; this should help yield a nice little profit.

  2. Thanks for the heads-up.
How is it, that our city is so lucky to have these two corrupt minded politicians running for Mayor, or any post for that matter? Leadership surely isn’t either of their attributes.
Glad Piper is going to run. He seems thoughtful and level headed. It’s evident Villard and Joseph are power hungry since they can’t appreciate the leadership skills he has so they’re running against him. Not good.
Voters beware is all I got to say.
