Now let’s see how many meetings it will take to get a quorum to swear Evan in as the new mayor. I ran into two of the commissioners today while voting. Sad to say, one would not comment or speak to anyone and the other actually helped me get my handicapped wife into the building to vote.
There’s no need to have a quorum for the swearing in. Two of the three Criminal Commissioners didn’t come to the swearing in for Jay, Phyllis, and Fortuna. None of them will probably show up for the swearing in because they’re still licking their wounds. Plus, they’re all racist.
I am pretty sure Flubbermound will have another “planned” vacation that nobody knew about, Michael Joseph will suddenly start to develop health conditions and Daniella will forget to tell anyone that she has a liposuction appointment that day… None of these would happen if their cow happened to win
GOOD JOB, NMB. There may be hope for other Florida cities to save themselves from the clutches of Criminal and Special Interest electeds. Enjoy the fruits of your hard work, Stephanie, you deserve it.
