Every once in a while a corrupt politician comes along who is so incredibly stupid that you can’t help but wonder how they’ve defied the laws of evolution.

Take NMB Hall of Shame founding member, the shameless and terminally stupid Myron Rosner, for example.  This Former Mayor/Current Convicted Felon managed to get himself arrested not once, but twice, on multiple felony charges.

Myron was first arrested on September 20, 2012 as a result of his violations on the Campaign Treasurer’s Reports (CTRs) he filed during his unsuccessful run for re-election in 2011.

After scrutinizing each and every one of the entries in his CTRs for weeks on end, I discovered those violations and immediately filed a complaint with the Florida Elections Commission.

During its thorough investigation, the Commission discovered that Myron had committed grand theft 3rd degree involving a City vendor, from whom he strong-armed into giving him free bus bench advertising.

The Elections Commission turned the case over to the Miami State Attorney, Katherine Fernandez Rundle, who initially refused to issue an arrest warrant because Myron was married to then-Circuit Court Judge Sarah Zabel.

Because corrupt politicians always protect their own.

Myron might have gotten away with his crimes if it weren’t for the diligence and determination of the unstoppable team of Miami-Dade Ethics Commission Investigator Kennedy Rosario and Miami-Dade Police Department Detective Luis Rodriguez, who presented their Statement of Facts in Support of Arrest Warrant to the Broward County State Attorney, and the rest is history.

Myron eventually entered into a plea deal which included a three-year probation sentence and a few other slaps on the wrist.

While Myron was still on probation, he managed to get himself arrested a second time on October 17, 2017, this time on three felony counts of securities fraud and a fourth count of grand theft 3rd degree.

According to the arrest warrant and the press release issued by the Miami State Attorney’s Office, Myron was accused of inducing Dr. David Rosenbaum to invest $150,000.00 in a real estate venture and then absconding with all the money.

Although Myron’s wife, Circuit Court Judge Sarah Zabel’s fingerprints were all over the scheme, State Attorney Kathy Rundle claimed that there was a “lack of evidence” to arrest her.

Fortunately, Karma stepped in and succeeded where the Miami-Dade County justice system had failed.

Five months after Myron was arrested, Sarah was investigated by the Judicial Qualifications Commission and forced to resign from the bench.

As for Myron, his second felony trial is still pending.

According to the Criminal Case Docket, the three securities fraud counts were dropped, but he’s still facing charges of the grand theft third degree.

Last July he filed an appeal to have that charge dismissed, but lost, and the case was sent back to Circuit Court.  In order to drag the case on even longer, on March 29, 2022 Myron fired his fourth lawyer, and the saga continues.

It’s not surprising that Myron was able to dodge the securities fraud counts because, let’s face it, he’s too stupid to pull off a crime that sophisticated.  Grand theft, however, is right up his alley because he always was and always will be a crook.

Or as we say in Yiddish, a gonif.

Another notorious North Miami Beach Hall of Shame member was the disgraced and removed from office Ex-Commissioner/Current Convicted Felon Frantz Pierre.

This is the very same Frantz Pierre who recruited Paule Villard to first run for office in 2015, and who taught her more than a few of his dirty political tricks.

Ever since he was first elected in 2007, we dogged him mercilessly and documented his multiple acts of malfeasance, including his:

• Filing a bogus restraining order against an opponent (more on this in a moment)
• Committing perjury under oath
• Violating city code
• Intimidating and fighting with a city employee
• Making false accusations against a city employee
• Attempting to coerce a city employee to lie for him
• Stealing city property, including water
• Falsely accusing a city employee of rigging a bid
• Installing a carpetbagger from MIRAMAR to run against one of his colleagues
• Lying to recuse himself from a vote
• Falsely accusing the son of an elected official of deliberately causing his car accident
• Going postal on a city employee who was attempting to do her job
• Falsely accusing the MAYOR of interfering with the bidding process (for which he was beautifully bitch slapped!)
• Conspiring to steal FDLE funds from the city for a bogus non-profit
• “Winning” elections by absentee ballot fraud
• Committing grand theft 3rd degree for stealing $2,500.00 from the Haitian Evangelical Baptist Church
• Abusing his “official” position by threatening a Code Enforcement Officer, (for which the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust bitch-slapped him royally)

In addition, Frantz Pierre had been the subject of five, count ’em five, Internal Affairs investigations by the North Miami Beach Police Department for, among other things, the attempted framing of a city employee, accusing another employee of framing him, tampering with the water meter of the same employee, falsely accusing yet another employee of rigging a bid, and stealing city water in the middle of the night.

After eleven long years of watching the Sociopath of NMB get away with everything short of murder, on July 25, 2018 I was finally VINIDICATED! when Frantz Pierre was arrested and charged with eleven felony counts.

It was a beautiful thing.

As corrupt and stupid as Myron and Frantz were, they have absolutely nothing on the current yet-to-be convicted Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard, who not only has the IQ of room temperature, but has finally proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that she deserves to be inducted into the infamous North Miami Beach Hall of Shame.
