White AF North Miami Police Chief Larry Juriga crashes a Haitian party on taxpayer dime to score political points

The National Haitian American Elected Officials Network (NHAEON) held its Leadership Retreat Program this weekend in Chandler, Arizona. Rhia Luz Nkulu, Chairwoman of the Arizona Chapter of the Women’s Federation for World Peace USA chronicled the event in a 79 photo anthology on her Facebook page.

Imagine our surprise to see the fair-skinned, flaxen-haired North Miami Police Chief standing out in a crowd of the Who’s Who of Haitian American politicians.

Larry Juriga is neither Haitian, nor elected.

But he is the consummate politician!

Your Police Chief has spent the last three days hobnobbing with the Haitian political elite such as the extraordinary Mia Love, the first Haitian American and first black Republican woman elected to Congress, and the newly elected Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, the first Haitian American U.S. Repesentative from Florida.

Although Larry Juriga obviously attended this retreat to score political points with the four Haitian American elected officials in North Miami, his law enforcement history with the Haitian community tell a far different story.

— Like that time he filed a Charge of Discrimination against a former City Manager, claiming that he has been “marginalized in the department” because he’s white, and that he’s more qualified than any Haitian-American who received promotions over him.

— Or the time Larry Juriga framed Police Commander Emile Hollant, a Haitian American, falsely claiming that Hollant lied about his involvement in a police shooting, and then had him fired.

— Or when Juriga conspired with former City Manager Larry Spring to fire Gary Eugene, North Miami’s first Haitian American Chief of Police, so that he could steal his job right out from under him.

Good times!

In the mother of all ironies, as reported with much fanfare by CNN, Larry Juriga was one of the South Florida police officers who “knelt in solidarity with protesters” against police brutality …

… The same police brutality committed by his close friend, the psycho, serial cyber-stalking, and thankfully, retired cop, Joseph “Joey” Kissel, when he terrorized a Haitian American family after he arrested the husband, by impounding — and then selling off — their only car, threatening the wife, kidnapping their children, and then arresting her for not testifying against her husband.

Not only was Psycho Joey not fired for his brutality, but Juriga promoted Kissel to Commander the minute he became Chief.

While North Miami Police Chief Larry Juriga is adept at politicking, partying, and virtue signaling, his skills as a law enforcement officer are sorely lacking.

An analysis of North Miami Crime Data compiled by Neighborhood Scout revealed, “North Miami has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes– from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One’s chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 24. Within Florida, more than 92% of the communities have a lower crime rate than North Miami.”

Police Chief Larry Juriga’s real accomplishments include:

A Crime Index of 6 out of 100, where 100 is the safest.

And a violent crime rate that’s more than double that of the State of Florida.
