The runoff election between Kevin Burns and Kassandra Timothe for North Miami City Council District 2 will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
You can vote in person today and tomorrow from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the North Miami Library, or on Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at your precinct.
While it’s too late to mail in your absentee ballot, you can drop it into the Ballot Box at the North Miami Library between now and Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
During the general election Kevin Burns received these major endorsements from several organizations, which were awarded again for the runoff election:
- Equality Florida, which is “the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community,” according to its Mission Statement
- Miami Association of Realtors, which was “chartered by the National Association of Realtors in 1920 and is celebrating 100 years of service to Realtors, the buying and selling public, and the communities in South Florida.”
- SAVE, whose “mission is to promote, protect and defend equality for people in South Florida who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.”
- South Florida Police Benevolent Association, which believes in “protecting our community with dignity, honor and a commitment to upholding the law.”
- VotersOpinion, which demands transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility in your local government.
Please get to the polls and elect Kevin Burns for North Miami City Council District 2.
