Imagine you’re a 50-something year old and you receive a campaign newsletter from the Temporary Vice Mayor of North Miami Beach announcing that you are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination.

Then imagine you wake up at 7:00 AM to get in line at Allen Park for your vaccination, only to be told you’re too young!

Well, that’s what happened this morning to several North Miami Beach residents, who left the park … WITHOUT A VACCINE!

We’re told he already “fixed” his newsletter and sent it out again, but not before we got screenshots.  The internet is forever!

Too bad, so sad.

Michael Joseph is so intent on getting his name and face out there for the sole purpose of running for higher office that he’ll say anything, even at the expense of North Miami Beach residents, who are nothing but collateral damage in his quest for “power.”

This man is not just a joke – he is an embarrassment to the City.  He needs to be recalled immediately!

Please educate yourself on the recall process of local officials in the State of Florida by visiting the Citizen’s Initiative and Referendum page at the National Conferences of State Legislators website.

Then familiarize yourselves with Florida Statute §100.361, which states:

• No recall may commence until official has served at least one-fourth of his term
• Grounds for recall are malfeasance, misfeasance, neglect of duty, drunkenness, incompetence, permanent inability to perform official duties, and conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
• Time for gathering signatures is 30 days
• Signature requirement varies according to the number of registered voters in the jurisdiction:  50 electors or 10% of the total electors, whichever is greater, in a district of fewer than 500 electors; 100 electors or 10% of the total electors, whichever is greater, in a district of 500-1,999 electors; 250 electors or 10% of the total electors, whichever is greater, in a district of 2,000-4,999 electors; 500 electors or 10% of the total electors, whichever is greater, in a district of 5,000-9,999 electors; 1,000 electors or 10% of total electors, whichever is greater, in a district of 10,000-24,999 electors; 1,000 electors or 5% of the total electors, whichever is greater, in a district of 25,000 or more electors

Michael’s malfeasance, misfeasance, and incompetence are more than enough grounds to institute a recall election.  It’s time for North Miami Beach voters to organize and get this clown out of office before he moves up the political food chain.
