Well, sort of.
Former-then-arrested North Miami Beach Commissioner Frantz Pierre has pleaded guilty to eleven of twelve felonies, and entered into a Plea Agreement with the Miami State Attorney’s Office today.
Unfortunately, we won’t have the pleasure of seeing the Ex-Commissionweasel behind bars.
Frantz Pierre essentially got away with a slap on the wrist:You read that right.
Two years of house arrest followed by four years of probation.
In addition, Frantzie has to pay:
- A whopping $2,000.00 in “restitution” to the City of North Miami Beach … at a rate of $28.00 a month.
- $5,000 to the State Attorney’s Office “for the cost of the investigation.”
Oddly, Frantz Pierre is not required to pay a dime of restitution to his victims.
As further “punishment,” Frantzie is required to perform two hundred (200) hours of community service with a “non-profit agency or entity” not associated with a political party or cause.
This is particularly ironic since, as we all know, Frantzie will have have no trouble finding any number of “non-profits” to align himself with and then figure out a way to make a profit by “serving” them.
Frantz Pierre will also have to write an apology letter “to the community of the City of North Miami Beach,” which we all know will be oh so sincere and come right from the bottom of his wicked little heart.
In addition, he won’t be allowed to run for office again … during his six year sentence.
But, you can bet that Frantzie will be out on the campaign trail the very next day.
Oh, and for the next six years, Frantz Pierre is not allowed to “violate any law.”
After that, we’re guessing all bets are off.
Ever since the day he was arrested on July 25, 2018, we’ve been anxiously awaiting a satisfactory outcome.
This is hardly that.
Take heart, however. All is not lost.
Three years after his second arrest, the criminal trial of former Mayor/Current Convicted Felon Myron Rosner on four felony counts is still in the works.
So, keep that corn popping.

What a joke. What kind of punishment is that ? What message does this send ?
