“I thank my lucky stars to be living here today, because the Flag still stands for Freedom and they can’t take that away!”
Happy Independence Day!
Stephanie
God bless America. percent..
Happy day to you too
As one that has defended this country I am proud of what it was and what it use to stand for. Anyone that lives in this country and is willing to work hard and not have a chip on their shoulder can make it huge. In this country the only thing holding one back is themselves. When I hear that people can fly a gay pride flag but not a straight pride flag or when you cannot wear the battle flag that won us our independence I wonder what is happening to this country. As Ronald Reagan stated “Freedom is only one generation from extinction”. When you have politicians like Bernie Sanders and AOC who never held an actual job that want to run our country and believe that socialism is the way to go the only thing you can do is pray for guidance and wisdom.
Agree with you all the way brother. I served, my dad served and all my uncles served and my mother. All worked hard, took risks and were successful and were good citizens and passed on the values and discipline to their kids. All of my wife’s family served proudly and had the same results with their kids. Yes we all need to pray for guidance and wisdom. God bless you and thanks for all you did, and are still doing.
As was my family. Dad D Day plus 2, my Mom was a WAC and between my two uncles they saw action on Guadalcanal, Okinawa, the Solomon’s and the Philippine’s. Those that are still here would say they just did what they had to do.
The quote from Ronald Reagan “Freedom is only one generation from extinction “
Didn’t he also say the scariest words in the English language are “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
Would our forefathers believe what is happening today?
When we lose freedom in the smallest way it chips away
at what makes America great. May we remember every day to valve our freedom and protect it. To stand up for neighbors and ourselves, so our freedom doesn’t slip away.
God Bless America
I agree with you, but there are some things that government does that is essential. like protecting lives and property
And don’t forget building expressways.
