Unclear on the concept of public office, public records, and well, pretty much everything else, North Miami mayoral candidate Danielle Beauvais is providing some much needed comic relief during this 2019 election season.
But, this isn’t her first rodeo.
Or even her second.
Danielle Beauvais first ran for mayor in 2005. During her failed campaign, she raised a grand total of $20,766.57, of which $16,410.57 came from her own pocket as a loan to the campaign.
Compare her “war chest” to those of the two serious candidates in that race, Kevin Burns and Jean Monestime.
Mr. Burns raised $144,165,00, of which $92,710.00 were loans. Mr. Monestime, raised $122,055.00, and only loaned his campaign a total of $2,500.00. Burns won the election and served four years before being termed out. None worse for the wear, Monestime lost that race, but went on to become a County Commissioner.
Danielle again ran for mayor in 2017. This time she raised a total of $17,955.17, of which $13,200.00 were loans from herself. In the end, she only reimbursed herself $237.64 of those loans. According to her Campaign Treasurer’s Reports, she spent $776.58 on food and $292.37 on gas. Just think of the party she could have thrown instead of blowing nearly $13,000.00 on a race she had no chance of winning.
This third time around, however, Danielle doesn’t seem to have put her heart (or her money) in the race. According to her 2019 Campaign Treasurer’s Reports, she’s only raised $6,060.00 so far, and she’s only contributed $2,250.00 in loans. With only $303.12 spent on food, and not a penny on gas, she’s apparently partying less as well. Of course, there’s one more reporting period to go, so that could all change before it’s all over.
Even though she’s never been a serious candidate, that hasn’t stopped her from playing dirty campaign tricks.
Two years ago, this self-titled “Tai Chi Instructor” had her son, Lehem Biral Felican, Jr., hack this website after we poked fun at her and revealed her 1998 bankruptcy.
Upon learning that she was once again running for mayor, we felt it was our civic duty to alert voters about this dangerous individual. In Caveat Emptor! Just say “NO” to this North Miami candidate!, we warned:
There’s nothing more dangerous than a public official who would commit such a heinous act.
If she’s elected as mayor of North Miami, imagine what she’ll do to anyone else who dares to criticize her performance on the dais.
Danielle obviously never got the memo that all’s fair in love, war and politics.
On April 30, 2019, she sent us the following message:
That’s so adorable!
North Miami mayoral candidate Danielle Beauvais demanded that we “delete the false information” we posted about her and to stop writing anything at all about her or her son, regardless of whether it’s accurate or inaccurate!
Yeah … no.
Sorry, sweetie. That’s not how it works.
For one thing, we have not posted any “false information.”
Every single thing we wrote about Danielle and her son are 100% accurate – and we have the PUBLIC RECORDS to prove it! Each and every record can be accessed by clicking on the hyperlinks.
Secondly, our opinion is protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution (see The Miseducation of Norman Powell for more details).
What’s more, Danielle’s son became fair game when he volunteered in her 2017 campaign to HACK OUR WEBSITE!
Needless to say, we will not be not be deleting a damn thing, and – as you can clearly see from the blog you are now reading – we will never “cease and desist” from telling the truth.
And, lastly, should Danielle Beauvais be stupid enough to “take legal actions,” she and her lawyer will be answering to the Pitbull.
Yeah, he eats lawyers for breakfast.
Danielle. Sweetie. Take our advice.
If you don’t want your private business made public, stop running for office!
Stephanie
Everyone doesn’t live in No Miami.
How about some diversity?
No Miami hasn’t cornered the market on
POLITICAL Corruption.
Look in Golden Beach!
Not everyone lives in North Miami – even I don’t. However, everyone who follows politics has their eye on Tuesday’s election, so I’m focusing on that right now.
This is an adorable “Cease and Desist”. Most of them claim you’re publishing inaccurate information but this just straight up says don’t publish anything, particularly accurate stuff. This is a whole new legal theory.
