In advance of tonight’s Personnel Board Appeal Hearing of former Assistant Budget Director Terry Henley, his attorney William R. Amlong, Esq. filed a “memorandum of law and facts to assist the Personnel Board in its consideration of his appeal of his termination by Deputy City Manager Arthur Sorey III…”
This memo is a must read for North Miami residents who are sick and tired of the rampant corruption at City Hall.

Appellant’s Memorandum in Support of Overturning Termination
Please attend Mr. Henley’s hearing tonight to show your support for yet another loyal city employee wrongfully fired for blowing the whistle on corruption in North Miami.
Then tell your Mayor and Council that City Manager Larry Spring and Deputy City Manager Arthur “Duke” Sorey are the ones who need to go!
North Miami residents and employees deserve better.
Stephanie
Stephanie, You are awesome!
Would you consider a blog on Golden Beach ?
It might make No. Miami look like a walk in the park.
It’s not me who’s awesome. I only put the information out there. Citizen activists who take an interest in their local government and demand accountability and transparency from their elected officials are the real heroes.
With reference to the above comment and response: it takes two to tango. Without the interest of citizens and actions by activists on one side and without the absolute ability to understand and articulate by the rare individuals like Stephanie, we would be living in a nightmare Venezuela. I am very much looking forward to attending tonight’s meeting via web. Thanks, Stephanie, for all you do
