On February 27, 2012, the North Miami Beach Police Department issued a Press Release announcing the arrest of “young burglars in progress.” One of the suspects arrested was then 14 year old Albert Duran, who already had an “extensive past, mostly burglaries.”
It’s only gotten worse.
The Miami Herald reported that Duran was just arrested for the 14th time after racking up an array of “an eye-opening arrests, almost all of them on burglary or robbery charges.”
The only sentence he received until now was house arrest.
Obviously, his punishment didn’t take, because in December he broke into an 80 year old woman’s home to steal her money. The Herald article reported, “When she protested that she had none, Duran masturbated on her, according to an arrest report. The next day, Duran broke in again, this time climbing on top of her and raping her in her bed, police say.”
Despite the fact that his DNA was all over the scene of the crime, Albert Duran’s mama swore up and down that her child is innocent!
How does she know?
Because her little angel said so!
Tania Lora told the Herald, “I asked him directly, and he said he didn’t touch whoever they say he touched. They have it all wrong.”
Hate to bust your bubble, honey, but DNA DOESN’T LIE!
I realize that most mothers are in denial about the shortcomings of their offspring, but considering that her son has been in trouble with the law since he was 13 years old, Tania Lora should be charged with criminal parenting.
Or something.
And then she should have her parental rights terminated permanently since she barely raised the little monster in the first place. There is clearly something wrong with her.
No one was supervising Duran’s house arrest, either, since that’s when “he robbed a street rival at gunpoint and pummeled him in the eye,” according to the Herald article.
North Miami Beach Police Captain Rich Rand stated, “He’s a very dangerous individual, somebody the community needs to be aware of. His behavior clearly escalated.”
Ya think?
Instead of jail time, Albert Duran was given house arrest. He also spent a year in a residential juvenile program. It was shortly after a “conditional release” from that program on December 11, 2014 that he committed the brutal rape of the elderly woman. Twenty days later on New Year’s Eve, he broke into another woman’s home and “tried to drag her to the bedroom.” Fortunately, she got away from him and was able to identify him in a photo lineup.
There is no doubt that Albert Duran is a bad seed who shows no remorse for his crimes. He has zero empathy for the people he hurts or respect for the property of others. He either doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong, or he simply doesn’t care.
The only crime Albert Duran hasn’t committed is murder.

That’s a serial rapist right there, North Miami Beach and Miami Dade PD better keep him in their sights.
You see it all the time, they sometimes start younger than this boy and when the schools try to tell the parents, they get all huffed and say their kids are being “picked on” by the school, get them transferred and they start again at a different school, etc.
When the kids hit the “big time”, they continue to get their hands slapped, “don’t do it anymore” speech until they kill someone or be be killed.
This is a direct result of Liberal Democrats who think just like this scumbag’s mother. To have committed two rapes/attempted rapes and still be out on the street says a lot about our liberal justice system that feels this dirtbag deserves his 15th chance. These are the type of immigrants that no one wants to talk about, all we hear about is their contributions to our country and its economy. This punk and his mother, are living proof that there is another side of the story.
We need to severely restrict our legal and illegal immigration so that these criminals remain in their native land. Instead of allowing the best and brightest to immigrate here,(we give them a hard time), we take in the crap like this that sooner or later, will kill or severely maim somebody.
Just like the Miami-Dade County Commission recently voted on and implemented a teen curfew, our City Council can also enact an ordinance holding the parent(s) criminally responsible for the actions of their children. Once you lock up Tania Lora a few times, she might take an interest in what her punk kid is doing out on the street after midnight.
So I was locked up with the kid at the juvinile program and I haven’t been in trouble since he was one of the worst and caused trouble all the time. He got into alot of fights and tried to bull people including me out of food. I’m glad he is away for along time I’m sorry to hear what he has done to this community and hope he dies a horrible death.
Some people are just born evil. Duran is obviously one of them. It’s scary to think what crimes he’d be capable of committing if he ever gets out of prison.
