Here it is over an hour and a half after the polls closed in the City of North Miami Beach and there are STILL no results!
Seriously.
How long does it take to count a couple thousand votes? They’ve called presidential elections in less time! I’m told that Michael Joseph is ahead of Phyllis Smith by 32 votes, but they’re still waiting on the absentee ballot tally.
I’m wondering if someone over at the Miami-Dade County Elections Department is asleep at the wheel because those ballots should have been counted and posted by the time the polls closed. We are not talking about thousands and thousands of ballots! A few hundred at most voted by absentee.
North Miami Beach election results STILL not in! WTF is the holdup? One race, low voter turnout. Election officials had one job. ONE JOB!

I’ll keep you posted.

I was wondering if the results were in… Let them get this count right – Mr. Joseph the winner! Keeping my fingers, toes, etc crossed.
I’m standing by. Well, actually, I’m sitting. Whatever. I’m ready to blog the results as soon as the Elections Department gets its act together!
