We are now reporting live in North Miami, where the Chief of Police is about to issue a press release.  There is a crowd of reporters from all media sources waiting on the lawn in front of the Police Department.  All of them are anxiously awaiting a word from the Chief about the recent spate of shootings in the city.  He’s walking out of the building and he’s about to step up to the podium.  He appears to be with several members of his Command Staff, one of them is holding a stack of paper.  The officer is now walking out among the crowd distributing what appears to be a press release.

Wait!  Chief Burgess has just stepped back inside the building!

That’s an interesting turn of events.  Let me walk over to this officer and see if I can get a copy the document he’s handing out.

Yes, it is a press release.  Hmmm.  This is indeed strange.

I’m holding this up to the camera so you can see the document I was just handed.

Folks, this surely is breaking news.  I’m not quite sure what it all means, but rest assured I’ll be following this story and reporting back you with any new developments.
