NE 112th street is not near Sans Souci Blvd which is equivalent to NE 118th street on Biscayne Boulevard. It would be the entrance to the Jockey Club which is unincorporated Miami-Dade. Sorry, this would not be on Lenny’s area, but he should still be fired.
To correct my post, the picture shows NM Police in the picture and it looks like it’s the parking lot of Pollo Tropical at Sans Souci and Biscayne. WSVN needs to be more accurate with their tweet. I stand corrected, it is North Miami’s jurisdiction.

I can’t tell you specifically what Major Cuevas would do, but I can tell you he’d do a helluva better job than the PIO is doing now! Right about now, I’m thinking she sucks at it.
Major Cuevas also should have been promoted to Chief at least 15 years ago, but he’s too honest and obviously has too much integrity for that position in North Miami.
Oh, and whoever is in charge of updating the NMPD website also sucks at his job.

Cuevas? Chief? Hahahahahaha! That’ll be the day. He doesn’t play golf with the elite. He doesn’t go drinking or gets wasted with the rest of the command staff. He doesn’t play flag football when the robberies are occurring. He doesn’t lie about crime stats or orders officers to downgrade the crimes on their reports. He doesn’t run from the media. He doesn’t attend political functions. He’s not a liar. He will NEVER be chief.
Like I said, Major Cuevas is too honest and has too much integrity to be the Chief of Police for the City of North Miami. Until the culture of corruption changes, the NMPD will be stuck with corruptocrats like Burgess and his small circle of puppets, lapdogs and cheerleaders.
Burgess & Co. are men without scruples who have no concept of honor.
They also fear men like Major Cuevas, whose incorruptibility is just incomprehensible to them.
