I received an email at 2:10 this afternoon from a reader that there was a shooting in progress at NE 154th Street and 14th Avenue.  He also wrote that there was a “gunshot to the leg.”

Turns out the shooter and the victim are one and the same person.

According to an email sent by City Manager Ana Garcia to Mayor and Council, it was a “self-inflicted gun shot.  Individual is receiving medical care.  We will be arresting this convicted felon as he is NOT allowed to possess a weapon.”

I guess he didn’t get the memo when he was released from prison.

They’ll probably fill him in on his trip back to the hoosegow.

I’m still convinced that stupid people shouldn’t breed.
