You may remember that North Miami Beach Councilcritter Frantz Pierre recused himself from voting on a Resolution that came before the Council on March 4, 2014, announcing, “I am a potential buyer of this residence, and therefore, I ask Madam Clerk to provide the proper form to disclose and I will be leaving the dais.”
As required by state law, Frantzie had to file Form 8B in order to comply with Section 112.3143 of the Florida Statutes, Memorandum of Voting Conflict for County, Municipal and Other Local Public Officers, so he could justify strutting his bad peacock self off the dais instead of actually having to vote on a contentious issue.
You know, the kind of issue that might cost him votes come Election Day.
In any event, Delusional Frantzie filed the required Form 8B with the City’s Clerk on March 4, 2014 – the same day as the meeting – and claimed “I am in negotiation with the owner of the item to be discussed under R2014-6.”
Said owner would be the developer, Abraham Galsky, about whom the Miami Herald reported, TWO DAYS AFTER FRANTZIE SIGNED THIS FORM,
“This came as a surprise to Galsky, who said, he and his partners are under no current negotiations or contracts from Pierre…”

I would like to see CW Smith’s paperwork.
I know she has bought and sold a lot of properties from developers who appear before the City Council.
That never stopped her from voting. Why all of a sudden after all of these years did she decide to recuse herself?
