More Fun with Myron!

foiled againLet’s have some more Fun with Myron!  First the Felony Update Part II:

More than a year after his arrest, the North Miami Beach One Term EX-mayor’s felony trial is still in limbo.  According to the docket of The State of Florida’s Case No. 132012CF0236630001XX against Myron Joel Rosner, the most recent status of his case is that a trial hearing originally scheduled for November 18, 2013 has now been reset for January 27, 2014.  And that’s just for another trial hearing – not a trial date.

Trial dates set for November 30, 2012 and March 5, 2013 have come and gone, while Superstar Lawyer to the Criminally Elected, Benedict P. Kuehne, buys time for one of his many politically disgraced clients.  Fortunately for losers like Myron, criminal lawyers like Kuehne can stall trials practically indefinitely.  Unfortunately for The People of the State of Florida, these lawyers are so highly skilled at their craft that attempts to bring the alleged criminals to justice can take years, cost upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and usually end in more acquittals than convictions.  The worst part is that, thanks to State Attorney Katherine Fernandez-Rundle, it’s even harder to get dirtbag politicians arrested than convicted.

The arrest of Myron Rosner was an early Christmas present to those of us whom he bullied, harassed and grossed out to the point that he could and did clear a room in under thirty seconds.  Employees and residents alike avoided him like the plague.  The news of Myron’s perp walk was as miraculous as Moses’ parting of the Red Sea.  Yeah, that was big fun!

Waiting for Myron’s trial finally to begin is regrettably anti-climactic.  I wish I had something of substance to report, but alas, it’s been one delay after another.  Thank you, Ben Kuehne!

In other Myron News, however:

The Florida Weekly Law Supplement published the findings of the 11th Judicial Circuit (Appellate) Court in the case of Rosner and his wife, CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL, Petitioners, v. City of North Miami Beach, Respondent.  Myron and ZABEL were represented by attorney Al Carbonel, and NMB was represented by City Attorney Darcee S. Siegel.

On July 12, 2013, the Court granted in part and denied in part Rosner/ZABEL‘s Petition for a Writ of Certiorari.  If you recall, the City of North Miami Beach Code Enforcement Board cited Myron and CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL with three separate code violations after they failed to show up for their final hearing.  Although the Court acknowledged it was “undisputed that Rosner had already received several continuances,” it still granted “the petition for certiorari.”  This basically means that the Appellate Court kicked the case back to the Code Enforcement Board.  The Court, however, denied the petition “with regard to all other issues raised.”  The matter is now “REMANDED” for a new hearing before the Board.

The best part of the Appellate Court’s decision, though, was that “Petitioners’ motion for attorney’s fees is DENIED.

LMAO!

I have no idea what Myron’s mounting legal bills are up to by now, but I’m guessing we’re not talking chump change.  I bet Ben Kuehne already has his new Ferrari on order.

    1. I confirmed that the rehearing will go before the citizens’ board, which handles all residential property issues.
