As I mentioned yesterday in The Barbie Doll of Miramar, North Miami Beach Faux Candidate Yvenoline “Yve” Dargenson writes a column of “her” articles for the website of Aging and Disability Resource Center of Broward County, or ADRC.
This organization touts itself as “a nonprofit organization serving Broward County’s senior residents, age 60 or older. There are currently over 345,064 year-round Broward seniors. The ADRC is administered by the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc.”
Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc. has been in existence since 1995, yet it has not registered a fictitious name filing for “Aging and Disability Resource Center of Broward County.” I find that to be very curious.
Nevertheless, the ADRC appears to have a wealth of information available in Broward County for seniors, the disabled and their caregivers, who have access to the internet. Its website is well organized and extremely user friendly.
It should be since, as stated on its website, “All programs are funded by the following through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County: Titles III-B, III-C, III-D, III-E, V, and VII of the Reauthorized Older Americans Act; Florida’s Community Care for the Elderly and Home Care for the Elderly Acts; Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative Legislation; Medicaid; and Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly. Matching funds are contributed by Broward County Government and local municipalities.”
ADRC also takes donations, but it appears that the bulk of its funding comes from “the government,” which is actually a code word for “Your Tax Dollars.”
As an aside, you will note that the link to the Florida Department of Elder Affairs above does not work. That’s not my doing, but it’s the link that ADRC provided. Maybe they need a new Webmaster. Just saying.
In any event, being the Good Samaritan that I am, I thought that the ARDC might be interested in knowing that the articles submitted by “Yve” Dargenson are possibly plagiarized. I was also curious as to whether or not Ms. Dargenson was being paid for her words of wisdom, so I clicked the Contact Us button, and wrote the following letter:
In your section, “Social Security Tips and Info,” you feature articles ostensibly written by Yvenoline “Yve” Dargenson. You also claim “Yve has agreed to let us reprint her articles here for your convenience.” However, I have discovered that she did not write any of those articles, but merely plagiarized them from other sources. For example, your most recent item, “Best Ways to Do Business with Social Security,” was actually an article posted in 55+ Magazine written by Michael W. Growchowski, the Social Security Regional Commissioner in Atlanta. Here is the link to Mr. Growchowski’s article: http://55plusmag.us/articles/6-english/373-social-security-news-april-2013.html. You may want to investigate this matter.
Since you are a non-profit agency and are funded by public state and local funds, you are subject to Florida Sunshine Laws, as well as the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, please consider this my public records request for copies of all records you have regarding Yvenoline Dargenson, a/k/a Yve Dargenson, including her resume and any salary and/or independent contractor wages you pay her for the reprinting of “her” articles.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Now, I’m not sure if MIRAMAR RESIDENT, L’il Mizz Barbie, a/k/a Yvenoline “Yve” Dargenson is donating “her” articles out of the goodness of her heart or if she’s grabbing even more of our tax dollars from this non-profit organization for her submissions. I just thought it would be interesting to find out.
As soon as I do, y’all will be the first to know.
