What’s with all these people running for office in North Miami and North Miami Beach when they live outside the respective city limits? And especially outside the county?
In addition to the Carpetbagger of NMB, North Miami Beach council candidate Yvenoline Dargenson, who hails from the fair city of Miramar in Broward County, there’s also the North Miami mayoral candidate Anna L. Pierre who shlepped from Miramar to stake her claim in our neck of the woods.
It’s ironically fitting that the west Broward city of Miramar was named for a word derived from Spanish meaning “view of the sea,” and yet the City of Miramar is nowhere near the sea. Or the ocean, as it were. In fact, the easternmost part of Miramar is still more than five miles from the Atlantic.
It’s no surprise that the city whose very name is a lie has produced two individuals who also lie about not living there.
What’s up with that? Is Miramar the new breeding ground for the Circle of Corruption? Just saying.
We’ve already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Ms. Dargenson lives in Miramar. ‘Nuff said about that for now.
By her own admission to the Miami Herald, Anna L. Pierre stated that, “I lived in Broward before 2012, but once I knew I wanted to run for mayor I moved into the city.” She claimed that she moved to North Miami in January of 2012.
However, thanks to Florida’s Sunshine Laws, public records show that Anna L. Pierre filed an annual report with the Secretary of State to renew her corporation, Heaven Sent Investments, LLC, and reported that her address was 13117 SW 54th Court, Miramar, Florida 33027, ON MAY 1, 2012!
That’s five months after she claims she moved to North Miami!
If that weren’t enough proof that she’s a liar, consider the U.S. federal trademark application for ZOTOBRE IT’S MY BRAND by Anna Louise Pierre in Miramar, FL, which was applied for on JUNE 5, 2012!
That’s six months after she claims she moved to North Miami!
She can’t even keep her own lies straight!
News Flash: Not only is Miramar NOT near the sea, it’s even further away from North Miami.
Listen up, Ms. Sugar Cookie. You are so busted! Get back to Miramar where you belong and leave the City of North Miami to those residents who actually live there.

“Spreading the Wealth”
It’s just business as usual, or rather politics as usual, as imported from the lovely isle of Hispaniola. It’s worked so well for them there, why not bring it here? Or perhaps the thought is that it will work better here. We’ve still got some trees left, and a wealth of government resources.
God save the trees and God Bless America!
FYI, Miramar was named by the Perry family because it meant see the sea of grass in reference to the edge of the Everglades. I moved to NMB from Miramar in 1993 and Miramar had their own issues back then. So I do think that these issues will continue in the future unless we as a whole start pushing back against the corruption.
Cities of NM and NMB: Oh, will you help us? Can you help us?
Glinda, the Good Witch: You don’t need to be helped any longer. You’ve always had the power to send the Carpetbaggers back to Miramar.
Cities: We have?
Legal Residents: Then why didn’t you tell her before?
Glinda, the Good Witch: Because she wouldn’t have believed me. She had to learn it for herself.
It’s time to enforce the laws.
“Carpetbaggers, go HOME!” The great and powerful Wizard of Oz has spoken!
In all seriousness, folks. This isn’t rocket science. If someone lives outside our city they should NOT be allowed to run for office. They also should not be appointed to city boards and committees that deal with issues directly affecting city residents, such as the Charter Review Committee. Yvenoline Dargenson does NOT live in “NMB, TO THE EXCLUSION OF ALL OTHER PLACES,” and should absolutely be disqualified from the race.
It doesn’t get any clearer than that.
