Some of you may be dreaming of a white Christmas, but not me. I prefer spending the holidays (and every day of the year) in shorts and flip flops. Luckily for me, we’ve been having lovely weather – not too hot and, thankfully, not too cold. I could do without the hair-frizzing humidity, but that’s just a minor complaint compared to what some people around the country are experiencing this time of year. Take Wisconsin, for instance. This does not look like fun:
Here in North Miami Beach, we are so fortunate that we can simply hop in our cars, drive around town without snow tires and earmuffs, and enjoy all the colorful Christmas lights.
Sure this is pretty to look at, but can you find the car?
Would you rather have a cold brew on this lawn?
Or this one?
Here’s a typical tropical SoFla Christmas.
And a very typical, not at all tropical Wisconsin sight.
Frosty the Snowman enjoys an evening under the palms.
Even Frosty’s not having any of this!
Rudolph & Co. are so not going back to the North Pole!
Run, Rudolph, Run!
Just remember, even if Santa leaves a lump of coal in your stocking, there’s always something to be grateful for.
At least our home games aren’t at Lambeau Field.
And there’s certainly no danger of the Dolphins going to the playoffs at Foxboro Stadium.
Cheers!
