Former North Miami Beach mayor Myron Rosner reminds me of one of those nagging coughs or summer colds that seem to linger forever and never go away.  Actually, Myron is more like the shingles.  Once you come down with that virus, you have it for life.  Yeah, that’s a better analogy.

As I reported on May 11, 2012 in Notice of Violation, on May 10, 2012, the North Miami Beach Code Enforcement Board finally ordered Myron to bring his house into compliance with the city’s code within sixty days of the last hearing he skipped out on, or be charged a daily fee of $250.00 per day per violation.  Considering there are three serious violations, the fines come to $750.00 per day, beginning on or about July 10, 2012.

You just knew Myron would try to find a way out of complying with the law and shelling out the fines.  Of course, you did.  When has Myron EVER done the right thing?  That’s right.  Never.

On June 7, 2012, Myron Rosner and his wife, CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL, filed a Notice of Administrative Appeal with the Appellate Division of the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Miami-Dade County, appealing the Orders of the North Miami Beach Code Enforcement Board.  They also filed a Notice Of Request for Oral Argument.

Instead of hiring an attorney to represent them, Myron Rosner and CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL filed Pro Se, which means on behalf of themselves.  Like the saying goes, “One who represents himself in court has a fool for a client.”

Then again, Myron isn’t exactly known for being the sharpest knife in the drawer to begin with.  You gotta wonder what kind of woman actually married this schmuck.  You REALLY gotta wonder why she continues to torture herself.

Hard to believe she’s a judge.  Even harder to believe no one’s filed to run against her yet.  No wonder people have so little faith in the justice system.

It’s also not hard to believe that no Circuit Court Judge, Appellate or otherwise, will have the cojones to rule against a colleague, i.e., CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL.  I also bet Myron is counting on that, as well.  I certainly hope that North Miami Beach City Attorney Darcee Siegel will defend this lawsuit VIGOROUSLY.  I also hope she requests a change of venue to Broward, Monroe or even Collier County, where the judges not only have no allegiance to Miami-Dade County CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL, but they don’t even know she exists.

As long as Mrs. Schmuck sits on that bench, there will never be a fair trial when her husband is on the docket.

But, as long as Myron Rosner keeps doing stupid stuff, I will never be out of material for this blog.
