Parents, are you ready for summer?  Do you have plans for your children yet?  If not, the City of North Miami Beach has a fabulous summer camp just for you!  Early registration is going on now through June 11, 2012, and you can save $35.00 for registering before the deadline.  The camp is open to both residents and non-residents.

Two of my children went to Camp No-Mi-Be from Pre-K through the 9th grade.  Both of them became Counselors-in-Training the summer before the 10th grade, and more than twenty years after his first summer, my son is still a No-Mi-Be Camp Counselor to this day.  No matter where life takes you through college and beyond, once you’re a part of the No-Mi-Be family, you’ll always have a place to come back to every summer.

If you ever went to summer camp, you probably have the most wonderful memories of meeting new friends, going on field trips, swimming, putting on shows and other activities.  My children looked forward to camp months before the school year was over.  When the first day arrived they had their bags and lunches packed hours before it was time to leave.  Every year, as the summer was coming to an end, they’d look back on the amazing time they had and wished it didn’t have to end.  Camp No-Mi-Be is an experience your kids should have at least once, and hopefully again – year after year.
